BREAKING - Kevpríg Governor, Mitka Luavi, has declared a provincial state of emergency after militants attacked the secluded town of Kalaígarziórkald. Kalaígarziórkald lies at the northern side of the isthmus between the T’lai Peninsula, and the rest of Krauanagaz. The emergency declaration follows a devastating bombing in the province’s capital, Alkantara, that killed 231 and injured 447 at Alkantara International Airport. According to a statement from Governor Luavi’s office, there are scattered reports of, “significant militant activity,” in and around the T’lai Peninsula located in Southern Krauanagaz.
At a press conference Ki Navvara, a spokesperson for the Kevpríg Provincial Militia, said that the Militia is working to facilitate the rapid evacuation of civilians and that there were recently assets stationed in the region that are actively engaged in such operations. Navvara reported that the Milita is coordinating closely with the Federal Army, headquartered in Alkantara, and the Federal Air Force. Governor Luavi spoke at the press conference and encouraged citizens within 35km of Kalaígarziórkald to evacuate along designated routes. “My office has been working closely with the Zharan administration on contingency plans for this situation. Those plans are being implemented and I urge all residents to remain calm, and please refrain from evacuating unless you are located in the specified areas.”
