The Pelinese Armed Forces have completed simulation exercised against an amphibious invasion and found that existing PAF military forces are adequate for repelling such an assault, even if mounted by a significantly more powerful nation. Participating officers have stated in assessment papers that the combination of dense SAM, TBM, and ASCM emplacements, heavily fortified airbases, large volumes of defending RPAF aircraft, swift responses by PWA formations near attempted and succeeded landings, and successful interdiction of amphibious warfare ships and their supporting forces by the RPN and RPNAS rendered a successful amphibious invasion of Pelinese territory “effectively impossible.” The RPN states that its upcoming package of still-in-sea-trials ships will soon be commissioned and that it will tip the already lopsided scales in decisive favor of Pelinese military supremacy in the eastern Mediterranean Sea and the Eastern Ocean.

Protests in the capital started yesterday and continued into today when Jyck Noilm, Representative of the North Bymia Province, along with the Minister of Urban Development, announced their plan to build the Otana Dam on Cybyr River, which is one of two rivers that feed into Oiliviar Lake.

In our interview with Tri Stotem, one of the many nature activists leading the protests, she stated that building this dam would cause “immense damage” to the ecosystem that surrounds Oliviar Lake, as it would dry up a significant portion of the lake.

Dam building has increased heavily in recent years: In just 5 years, 20 dams have been built all over the country by the government, with 10 of them being built in the province of Moiþ alone . And while they claims these massive and costly constructions are part of its plan to urbanize the country; many fear that it could cause massive amounts of damage to all biomes within the country and waste the government’s capital on unnecessary construction.

Diyan Vezier, Vihan Polati paid a short visit in Muslim-majority towns of northern Weisserstein where Polati transferred the Ulema’s intentions of offering scholarship programs for enrollment in their specialized and autonomous Universities. Despite meeting with Reichsrepubliks government officials, where both agreed to better their relations, he said that “The Ulema and the Murshid Maslaha would be better suited as diplomatic envoys here”. Polati did invite the Reichsrepubliks government to visit Inetez and specifically meet with the Ulema.

From there, he left for Centrus City in Ikaranara, with private conglomerates’ “Klaris Calculations and Consultations” management (foreign investment department), for discussions on mutual development of the manufacturing sector.
After this, a similar diplomatic mission is planned with arrival to Nikihk, Koros. This would finish ‘Stage one (?) of Cordilian diplomatic activity’. The latter two (Ikaranara and Koros) are said to be “More demanding visits, though still short, at least in Ikaranara”, most likely alluding to very different social policies between Inetez and Koros, which might be brought up.

The plan then involves Crabry, where he expects a “Short visit to Esfalsa, since our nations share very similar views on commerce” and a “Perhaps long visit to Kliegme, as it will be hard to find common economic ground”.

Bareland and Bailtem are left to be the last ones in this ‘Stage one’ due to (lack of) proximity and because “the visit to Pelinai, I expect, will be both the longest and the most extensive, as our nations are very similar”.
