HumanSanity’s Caretaker Prime Ministry
I want to thank the Council on Regional Security for appointing me as caretaker Prime Minister following Heliseum’s resignation. I think I speak for everyone when I wish Heli the best in handling their real life matters and say that I’m excited to see them back when time and life allow it.
I do not have exceedingly lofty goals for the next eight days – that would be foolish. My main goal is to ensure nothing falls apart, help the Ministers stay on track to accomplish any short-term goals and put long-term work in a spot where it can be passed off to the next Cabinet.
In terms of specific areas, this means:
- Cabinet-wide: further implement the Get Involved Wizard by working with admin to remove the extra test wizard from the site, ensure the correct link is used in all our promotional materials, and developing a rough procedure for new staff intake at each Ministry.
- Culture: Our co-Ministers will have my support in continuing to execute the Culture Calendar they had already set during this time.
- Defense: I am maintaining Heli’s existing Cabinet Order 80 appointing Utopia (as Minister of Defense) as the Prime Minister’s representative to the Admiralty. I will keep myself largely removed from this work to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest under policy that governs my role as site staff. I trust Utopia to keep things moving forward here and will only step in if there is a report of impropriety/neglect.
- Foreign Affairs: I am up to speed on existing projects/conversations from Minister Welly and I know that he has already released some information to the Assembly regarding this. We’ll keep the Assembly updated as relevant, and I hope to avoid the Gameplay Forum for the duration of my 8 day term.
- Integration: shots’s team will continue to work on establishing/growing recruiting in the region and setting up better resources/activity around welcoming new members on the RMB.
I have not yet had the chance to touch base with Director of Technology pronoun, but will support them in the execution of any parts of their agenda that are feasible in the next week.
