Pursuant to sub-section 5, of section 3 of the Legislator Act. The Chair of the Assembly revokes the legislator statuses of the following Assembly members, for their failure to comply with part a of sub-section 2 of section 1 of the Legislator Act:

Reason: Something happened in my life that struck me deep and personally, I’m not naming it as talking about it makes me cry… I just need a break from it all.
I do not mean to be brusque, and I’m very sorry to hear that something so sad has happened in your life. But, in the interests of fairness, it is incumbent upon me as Chair to apply the same policy equally to all legislators. Thus, pursuant to the Chair’s Office LoA Policy, please submit your Leave of Absence Request to the Citizenship Office only. The Chair will take note of all LoAs approved by the Citizenship Committee.

Chair of the Assembly Statement from the Chair on the Appointment of LordNwahs as Deputy Chair of the Assembly
Members of the Assembly,
As you no doubt have seen by now, the Prime Minister has nominated me to serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Confirmation to that position would require me to resign as Chair of the Assembly. I will issue a more detailed statement in due course, but for now I will simply say that this is not a decision that I have taken lightly.
In the meantime, I am pleased to announce that @lordnwahs has graciously agreed to facilitate the Chair transition. Specifically, Nwahs will serve as Deputy Chair until my formal resignation, facilitating the (two) upcoming votes in which I have an obvious self interest. After my resignation, Nwahs will assume the Chair by operation of law and will serve until the Assembly chooses a replacement by resolution. To be clear, Nwahs does not intend to serve out the remainder of my term in office; this is a temporary arrangement to ensure the smooth functioning of the Assembly until a permanent replacement is can be chosen.
In light of the foregoing, therefore, I hereby appoint @lordnwahs to serve as Deputy Chair of the Assembly.
With the publication of today’s State of the Assembly, I have completed my final act as Chair (at least this time around!). It has been a great honor serving the Assembly for the past six months, and I appreciate the trust that you all have placed in me. I hope that I have lived up to that trust, and, should the Assembly confirm me as Minister of Foreign Affairs, I hope to do the same in that role. I have full confidence that the Assembly will elect a worthy successor to the Chair, and I very much look forward to seeing the direction in which they take this crucial position.
With that, I thank the Assembly for its kind forbearance over my time in leadership, and I hereby resign as Chair of the Assembly.
I intend to be brief. As the outgoing Chair pointed out, I do not intend to see out the current term for personal reasons. I believe it is thus right for the Assembly to pass a resolution to vacate the chair and appoint a new Chair, pursuant to Legislative Procedure Act 2(2)-(3).
I am willing to provide my fullest support to any person that this Assembly decides to appoint as Chair, either as Deputy Chair if they so wish, or as an informal advisor otherwise.
