Statement from the Chair
Legislators,
I intend to be brief. As the outgoing Chair pointed out, I do not intend to see out the current term for personal reasons. I believe it is thus right for the Assembly to pass a resolution to vacate the chair and appoint a new Chair, pursuant to Legislative Procedure Act 2(2)-(3).
I am willing to provide my fullest support to any person that this Assembly decides to appoint as Chair, either as Deputy Chair if they so wish, or as an informal advisor otherwise.
