1.1. AGSE Listing Updates
The Joint Service had updates the Agorport Stock Exchange bi-annual listings of companies which are now open to FDIs. Below is the chart of values per share of those companies.
1.2. Infrastructural updates
Part of the infrastructural renovations have been finished ahead of time, namely the connection of Agorport to New Sorthane and Suhavenster; Including renovation of airport facilities in these respective Urban Localities. This included renovation of rail and paved highway travel, lowering the mean-time from Agorport to Suhavenster from 12 hours down to 2.5 hours. This projects success was aided by NAPA-OS-XX public release and quick adaptation into RTOS-V infrastructure control centers. As for airport facilities, international travel is expected to increase by the end of this year.
Remaining two projects are due on October Week III (renovating and connecting the “Inclinelands” of the interior country) and in the final weeks of December (renovation of the “Brownfield Coastline” infrastructure and expansion of Agorport dockyards).
1.3. Foreign relations updates
The idea of Cross-Cultural Institutes, student exchange programs and investments have increased bilateral relations between Nasphilitae and participating countries. Namely UPRAN ( @ZeroXz ), @Kliegme, @Eflad ( @DerDodo ), and Sedunn ( @Qwert ). These developments are somewhat interconnected to other news covered in Chapters 1 and 2, though remain separate from the NAGB Cold Conflict.
It is important to note that Nasphilitae, Sedunn and Pelinai ( @RobbyTheSeal ) are signaroties of the Pelograd Accords and once again emphasise the increased bilateral relations with Kliegme. This will be important for mercantile reasons covered in 2.1., relating to increased domestic demand for high-power CPUs.
2.1. Hardware updates
NAPA-OS-XX was publicly released and embraced by a portion of the population. Offering OOBE encryption methods, RTOS-V capabilities for infrastructure and “User-Developer” modules, it’s gained a cult following among both private senior system and networking developers, aspiring developers and in the infrastructural industry IT sectors. However, while not being RAM and ROM intensive for regular use, it requires advanced CPU chips and micro-codes, due to the manner in which it is designed to follow and rely on CPU cycles to manipulate memory and data. Since Nasphilitae lacks adequate domestic CPU manufacturing compared to the increased demand, it will likely be importing a large amount of powerful CPU’s from other electronic-focused countries this year.
2.2. Surge of recreational computing
Due to the specific licensing of NAPA-OS-XX as a piece of intellectual property and its’ modular capabilities of choosing a “User-Developer” mode; Nasphilitae citizens have begun practicing recreational computing and mathematics, which will in the future increase its’ human capital capabilities for low-level computing.
3.1. Asylum seeker program
After a series of protests errupted in the NAGB ( @Nicholas )over a Wikileaks xerox website detailing information on activities of the NAGB government, Nasphilitae had declared what the Head of State had termed a “Cold Conflict”. This namely includes a long operation of taking in NAGB opposition members as asylum seekers and refugees by Nasphilitae, with the aim of creating an “Opposition in Exile”. They will be provided technical and espionage training in a collective effort by the AID Directorate and private industries.
A mirrored clearweb site called “Wikileaksinfo” had been set up as a domain register in Nasphilitae. The incoming opposition is expected to be trained in technical networking proficiency as to provide full information which the original Wikileaks possessed and make it available on I2P topography networking. Relating to it, the AID and PrototAutomaton, utilising their respective KRYPTOS-III and NAPA-OS-XX staff members have began searching for vulnerabilities in NAGBs top level domain networking.
Among other vulnerabilities, an open port used by Romordian terrorists was found to be used for communication. Interestingly, despite severing official NAGB-Nasphilitae relations, the Nasphiliti government did inform NAGB of this vulnerability. Reasons cited for this is that Nasphilitae views NAGB as a sovereign territory and does not view Romordian methods of acquiring autonomy as legal nor valid. However, it had reserved the right to information regarding non-Romordian used vulnerabilities.
Furthermore, a specific set of sanctions had been imposed on the NAGB by the Head of Government Patton. They include more severe sanctions targeting the governance of NAGB whilst limiting negative effects on the population. It was stated that this operation seeks to make the NAGB government adapt a generally accepted liberal principle of responsibility towards its citizens.
3.2. International water observer mission
During the Asylum transfer mission, the Royal Armed Forces had been mobilised in internatonal waters and the RRF had been sent together with transportation vessels to secure safe transfer. Video capture drones could be seen throughout. It was later confirmed that they’ve been used not for propaganda pieces but to observe the trade routes coming in and out of NAGB.
As with the above portion of the operation, the RAF Airforce had noticed ensign cargo ships which do not belong to a known nation. Further tracking confirmed that, besides NAGB government trading with third parties, there seems to be a steady supply of cargo ships refusing to identify themselves docking near Romordian controlled territories. Nasphilitae had also informed the NAGB government of this but similarly, reserves the right to information gathered regarding other trade vessels supplying NAGB itself.
