After a series of concerning signals and energy signatures detected by nodes of the Eidoboros Array present within the surrounding region the Olmecon system, located in the Frontier territories bordering the Twilight Ascendancy, has been strictly quarantined due to the presence of an entrenched qlipphotic presence. Categorized as a Type III hegemonizing self-replicating entity, the qlipphot has currently taken the form of a growing dyson swarm of purple-violet processing nodes surrounding Olmecon as dense, self-gravitating opaque clouds. The primary concentration of computational elements is situated within the star itself, circling throughout the star's internal layers and its corona as the monomatter processors ride the currents of its electromagnetic field.

A fleet of warships have began clean-up operations throughout the system, and are currently about to initiate high-intensity orbital bombardment on Olmecon itself to eliminate the more resistant and potentially dangerous monomatter elements. Ideomemetic attacks have been attempted repeatedly, but the swarm's distributed mental architecture appears to be too decoherent and self-endorsingly thalient for memetic bombardment. Due to the dangers of both the swarm and the clean-up operations, an orbital blockade and a Confluence-friendly anti-FTL metric field has been established at 100 Astronomical Units from the central star.

UNION OF THE SERAPHIM VEIL — NSF GIL MIRIA, Today, Union Naval Defense Force Vessel With Purpose Untold (SB-001) left port under its own power to conduct space-worthiness trials outside Gil Miria’s Hill Sphere. Part of the final tests to commissioning a warship, it will practice fire missions, launch and recovery operations, and test damage control equipment. It is unknown how long space-worthiness trials will take, but they nominally take one to two weeks.

SPERO SYSTEM — INARA, Seran Marines made landfall today on Inara, a terrestrial planet and the only terraformed planet in the Spero System. The Omassan Gendarmerie contested the landings with surface to space assets and interceptors, but were unable to prevent the landings from establishing two tether harbors. The heaviest fighting is at a minor city called Jesoll.

Forces, identified as belonging to the League (OOC: one of the power blocks within the Republic), have been spotted fighting alongside the Seran Republic in the Voidsea. Though officials from the Republic denied any involvement in the conflict, they also pointed out that member states are free to maintain their own military and pursue an autonomous foreign policy, as guaranteed by the Republic’s constitution. The federal government is not responsible for any such action undertaken by the member states, but it has expressed wilingness to act as a mediator between the involved parties.

3 ABT / 1276 PSY / VOIDSEA WAR

SPERO SYSTEM - INARA GROUND, Seran and League Marines have pushed through Jesoll with armored and infantry elements and have begun advancing towards the Peroa Sea. Omassan Gendarmerie Skirmishers have made several counterattacks, but so far have failed.

SPERO SYSTEM - INARA SPACE, Seran and Directorate ships continue to clash in one of the longest running battlelines, clocking in at just over a week. Ships continue to pull into and out of the battleline as both sides trade lance, rail, and coil gun fire, with neither side seeming to gain an advantage. Ships from the Compact Navies’ Ninth Fleet (Voidsea Fleet) continue to montior the situation.
