The Covenant of fire’s comission for sapient rights has released a statement calling on the government of the Confluence to release information on how they have gotten the permission of freed Otomoonan slaves for relocation into it’s territory, under the threat of declaring their actions forced relocation and classifying the nation as sapient traffickers.
While the commission holds no power on it’s own such a deceleration would certainly lead to the covenant of fire taking measures against the Confluence. The Trianarö Space Force is currently engaged around the system where remnants of the so-called “Great Confederation” deigned to attack the planet. Unaware that the planet was under Trianarö protection, the military ships of the formation were caught by surprise. However, the TSF itself was caught unawares by the threat, and the limited forces in the region have allowed the Great Confederation to run the blockade before it started and send ground forces to the planet. A Planetary Theater of Trianarö Planetary Forces is set to arrive along with reinforcements, but travel times mean there will be at least a few days of combat before they arrive. However, the Izaren Azzum has sent several elite Izarattikai units to stave off the worst of the fighting before the Planetary Theater arrives.
The Mercurial Interstellar Group is celebrating its second millennium contract renewal with the Lexia Corthos. The tale of MerIns.Gro has become widely known throughout the Twilight Ascendancy, mostly through the legendary exploits of its subsidiary Treason Inc., based in the Cavail region of Arc’hana. Sirion Ravo, 5 time world champion and legend of the sport, has announced that the 1ABT season will be his last in the Sectoral endurance championship.
Sirion is considered one of the greatest pilots the sport has ever seen. He’s been racing since childhood, but began his SEC career in 30 BBT with the now defunct Thoron endurance team, before signing for Linrel racing in his 5th season, when he won his first championship. Sirion said that he believes he’s leaving the team in good hands, hinting that the young Rivaldir Thuri, who he mentored, might be a worthy succesor to his legacy. Rivaldir won the championship last year in his 4th season, making him one of the youngest world champions ever. He is characterized by a very aggressive flying style, a trait he picked up from his mentor. Will he become as great as Sirion is yet to be seen, but the team is hopeful he’ll fill his shoes.

Calerost’s second imperial covenant fleet (commonly known as the Voidsea fleet), based in Joint Naval Yard Raelis in the UoSV, has been set to high alert because of war breaking out in the Voidsea. The SICF, currently numbering 20 thousand ships, has been stationed in the Union since soon after the creation of the Covenant of fire and represents Calerost’s presence in the Voidsea. It has before been crucial in peacekeeping and anti piracy operations in the area. Will a full Calerostan intervention in the war follow is still unknown.
The Republic of United Worlds has announced the success of Operation: Hornet Swarn, in which the Commando Corps have taken control over the world of Nova Terra. The human supremacist, gene purist and totalitarian ideology of the local government and its sponsorship of the Red Hand terrorist organisation have been deemed a threat to the existance of the Republic. The world will be placed under military occupation until it is deemed fit for self governance, similarly to the Occupation Zone in the former Envari Coreworlds.
General Andarna, who was in command of the operation has provided a statement, but it was deemed too inappropriate for international media (it can be found on some Republic media channels and social sites). Any other personnel from the government or military refused to make statements.
OMASO DIRECTORATE — JELL, The Omasan Gendarmerie have repelled a covert Seran military force from Naval Magazine Jell. It’s unknown how Seran military forces made landfall, and its suspected that they were smuggled onworld several months prior.
