Adding more onto this, another thing we want to implement is a system called SPROUT into the executive. SPROUT for those not familiar yet or have forgotten is a telegram system that will reach out to TSP members after a few days if they have not been active. We also want to set up RMB posts that welcome new spawns by pinging them. These will run a long side the current welcome posts that provide information to those that post for the first time in the RMB.
What does āactiveā mean in this context? Like not posting on the RMB or not logging onto their NS account?
So this applies to new nations still. But it just means that they have spawned in and havenāt posted anything or gotten involved off-site.
Will SPROUT take into account that some nations are founded as alts? And how will it know if the nationās have gotten involved off-site?
Most people who make alt accounts are familiar with the site enough to block certain tg tags when they spawn. For those who donāt I donāt see a problem as they can just ignore the tg. As for the rest, these are technical aspects that we will be discussing.
Given that debate seems to be ongoing, the Chair would ask the Prime Minister is the wish to pursue the vote or to allow for further time to discussion.
I would like to pursue the vote, as the agenda my ministers will be executing is directed by me, and not dependent on the individual ministers.
I hereby nominate @CayonNS as Minister of Culture with the following responsibilities:
To promote the South Pacificās cultural identity, to hold events both on and off site, to run games and competitions, and to engage in and work on cultural projects.
I hereby nominate @Tin as Deputy Minister of Culture with the following responsibilities:
To support the Minister of Culture in the execution of their duties to promote the South Pacificās cultural identity, to hold events both on and off site, to run games and competitions, and to engage in and work on cultural projects.
I am nominating a Deputy MoC in the same way non-deputy Ministers are appointed, as I intend for @Tin to be able to wield the full powers of a Cabinet Minister. The Deputy MoC position is not being used as a training position, but rather Iām using it as a position to give support to the MoC, a duty which benefits from Ministerial powers in a way training positions do not benefit as much. Iām appointing a MoC and a Deputy MoC as a way to relieve individual burden, to leverage the activity of two people, and to empower them to focus on the projects they each value most.
Full support for both Cayon and Tin.
There being a motion and a second, these measures will be brought to a vote 2026-02-08T17:00:00Z.
Weāve already started. Iāll let you have a peek at in #domestic-affairs-council.
We will carry out the projects mentioned in Utopiaās culture agenda in his election campaign, such as card giveaways and game nights. The regional newspaper will also be brought back, as you have seen already on Discord. Personally I hope to hold contests related to art and a contest related to the only regional holiday of the term, Max Barry Day (Mar 18). Exact details are not available just yet but Tin and I have been actively discussing.
As deputy I will follow and help support Cayo as MoC to the best of my abilities. Although there might be individual projects on the side, I intend to follow Utopiaās agenda as a priority.
Do the MoC and Deputy MoC nominations need another motion to be voted on?
Yes + we havenāt passed the 3 day mark before a motion to vote can be called.
These are now at vote:
Second.
