I second

We are now at a vote… again.

Greetings again.

I am appointing @Ray as my Minister of Culture. We agree that Culture is more than events, it is about promoting and developing our regional culture, and I look forward to working with them in the term on this matter. I’ll leave the details to them to explain.

Hello! I’m very excited for the rest of this term :>

My plan for the remainder of the term would be to promote culture in TSP through interaction with the community, showcasing all the different aspects of our region through expos and game nights and things of that sort.

In short though, the message I want to convey was stated beautifully by Henn, Culture is far more than just events. This is everything that we as a region find meaningful. Our creativity, our humor, our parties, our lampshades, and basically everyone in this corner of the internet. I want to make sure that everyone feels even better about our little corner of the internet and more excited to participate in the things that make TSP, well, home.

I want to make sure our regional holidays are celebrated. I want to make sure everyone can feel free to pitch ideas of what they want to see and do and see those projects come to light. I want to share all the happenings with everyone.

I am always happy to answer any questions anyone may have for me.

In another topic you brought up the idea of Citizenship Days, but that was as a Citizen. What differences, if any, would there be in your plan if you approach the idea as the Minister of Culture?

Hello!

The Citizenship Days thing will be the bulk of my focus this term. I think it is very very important to really promote what makes TSP great and help keep everyone engaged with the going-ons.

My plan is to interview different TSPers and work with pretty much everyone to bring the highlight of what is going on in TSP. The citizenship days may end up being either a biweekly or a monthly thing, depending on energy and other events and happenings during the term. I would like to include recaps from the roleplay canons, I would like to take what the Assembly is doing, I would like to recognize the SWAN data, I would like to recognize the SPSF’s activities. Basically, as much as possible.

Of course, alongside these things I would also like to do activities together. The point is to highlight what makes TSP a great place and highlight where people can get involved.

We’re back.

I appoint @Banexet as Minister of Defense.

A number of resignations recently has left the Wardroom and I feeling that we needed a change, but my own focus and ability to enact any change is hampered by a lack of regular involvement within the organization. Drew does not share these issues. He and I agree on a path forward for the military, to include wider recruitment, more updated trainee materials, and other items along similar lines, and I look forward to working with him and with the Wardroom to bring the SPSF back up into the service we know it can be.

Hi.

As a lot of you might know, SPSF activity has been decreasing, with multiple soldiers and a Lieutenant leaving within the past month. With morale and officer activity stagnating, it is clear that change is needed in the SPSF. For the rest of the term, I will strive for a more comprehensive recruitment and development apparatus, turning the SPSF into the largest military in the game. To this end, I will also develop a military culture that keeps morale consistently high, resulting in high turnout for both day-to-day and liberation operations. Some plans I have to achieve these are:

  • Updating the training guides and promotion criteria to modern defending standards, including creating a guide for the newly-released chasing script Reliant
  • Aggressively recruiting on the RMB and other gameside platforms, especially during liberation attempts
  • Distributing propaganda materials on non-military regional platforms
  • Incentives for regular updaters, for example cards

Through this, we will hopefully reverse the recent slide in activity and revitalize the SPSF.

Specifically talking about cards, during my term I had done a card rewarding program for those with the most monthly participations in updates, but I feel like it hasn’t really attracted anyone in the SPSF, nor i think it encouraged anyone to participate more in updates. So, I wanted to ask, have you already thought on how will you specifically enact this proposal? If yes, how?

Speaking of Cards…

Does the Prime Minister have any plans to prepare for Season 4 of Cards? Such as rebuilding the governments store of (up to fate) cards?

No plans at all. Never got into cards. If anyone would like to take up the mantle of it, feel free to reach out.

When we did this previously, I felt like it wasn’t advertised nearly as well as it would be where it would attract updaters. This could be addressed by tying it into the more intensive recruitment program that we are planning-advertise card incentives in regional TGs, on the RMB, etc. The impending release of Season 4 of Cards could also help with this, as it will give cards more attention sitewide.

Do you have any plans or anything to say regarding Tidal Force?

I would like to keep the activity sheet/rank system going and advertise it (along with Tsunami Force missions) on the RMB. One thing I’ve noticed is that the base for Tidal Force activity is gameside RMBers that either don’t have Discord or can’t attend updates, and the Tidal Force is a way to learn the basic mechanics of defending without having to attend updates.

I move the appointment of the Minister of Defense to a vote.

I second this motion

This sounds like it could be its own ministry
