I can take this one. I think the easiest place to see this quantification would be my service reports from my time as Minister of Defense. Here and here you can see service reports that show growth in both the number of updaters I had participate in the force as well as the importance of the updates they participated in, most notably England, where the single update record for SPSF turnout was broken with 24 updaters. While there has since been some turnover (it’s been nearly a year and a half after all), I have still been putting in just as much work as when I was MoD. I recruited and helped to train the “big three” of Drew, Kotoha, and Vrigny, who have all had an incredible impact on the continued growth and strength of the Force. All three reached Lieutenant status, and Drew is close to his Captain promotion. Further, I continue to be a consistent presence at updates, helping to both mentor new members and lead every type of operation from chasing to detags to large-scale liberations.
As stated by Roavin, this wouldn’t be a promotion, but an appointment. As a result, I interpret an Admiral appointment as encompassing the whole of one’s contributions and ability to lead the Force, rather than just actions taken since last promotion. However, I do agree it comes with a greater burden of responsibility, but one I believe I can shoulder. Since my promotion, I have led multiple chasing and detagging runs, helped to mentor new members in the Force, and helped to lead liberation efforts small and large (namely Kelios).
I know that there are times where I can be very silly and unserious, but I assure you that, about the SPSF and its leadership, I am focused and driven. You can talk to the current Admiral we have or any member of our Officer Corps and I’m (pretty) sure they would all back my firm commitment to the betterment of the Force as well as my acknowledgement of the importance of this role. Even now, however, I am accountable to my Assembly and to my Citizenry just as much as my military, and if it ever saw fit to remove me from my position, I would not resist.
EDIT: I hope it’s appropriate to comment on my own nomination thread
