The Trailing Boundaries of the Voidsea

The Voidsea

The Voidsea is a geographical area in Sector A1-0 known for its trailing boundary area with thousands of tiny nations and piracy problem. Surrounded by M.A.G.H.A.M, the Regunessian Expanse, Sapphire Commonwealth, Twilight Ascendency, Dovian Star Confederation, Veentu Badlands, and Calerost, the Voidsea’s name is one of contentious debate; some claim it’s the human referred name from before they became a space faring presence, some say it’s because the area is fragmented and tormented like a gale. Whatever the case, the Voidsea is a unique area in A1-0 where major nations don’t hold sway.

Voidsea Independent Forum

The Voidsea Independent Forum is a neutral location in the Voidsea where minor nations vote on various topics that affect life in the Voidsea. Formed as a dispute mediation body following the Pirate Wars, it is a unicameral body able to form both binding and non-binding resolutions,* form unified military operations, create and enforce sanctions, and maintains the Trailing Boundary Defense Area (TBDA) in the trailing and rimward edges.

*For binding issues, a 2/3 majority is required, while for non-binding resolutions, a simple majority is required
