September Theme Thursdays Recap

On August 6th, the Ministry of Culture announced a new fun weekly event, Theme Thursday! Citizens compete to match the theme presented for the week, and a special role is given to the winner of each weekly event.
Following success in the first month of events, the Ministry of Culture hosted the event again over multiple weeks for this last month!
The first theme for September was birds. This unique challenge gathered 6 hopeful ducklettes. The winner was Cayo, whose original spin of the macaw with his own name into Macaw-yo led to their ascension to their rightful place as a recipient of the glorious role of Winner of Theme Thursday.
Following the victory by Cayo, many vied for the position of Event Winner the next week, with 8 people taking-part in this challenge based on breakfast foods. There were many unique spins on the topic, but Heliseum’s entrance of Heli-O’s, a clever spin on the bowl of cereal, was declared the most original by the Ministry of Culture, in-turn helping him to become the 5th ever winner of the Revamped Theme Thursday.
To kick-off our third event of the month, with excitement brewing in the lampshade bar, the theme was announced to be Appliances. 7 people joined to see who would be crowned champion for the week, a slight decrease from the last event, possibly due to the short time-frame given to vie for the role. Out of these brave warriors, Mavenu eventually gained the sign of approval from the Ministry of Culture to pronounce themselves as champion with their entry of ThermoMaven, matching the theme well.
Lastly, here’s a look at all of the victors since the reintroduction of Theme Thursday:
