It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that I’m taking a step back from NS. I came to this decision when I discovered from nslogin that my first nation had CTEd in my absence, something that hadn’t happened before in its 12-year history. I think it’s glaringly obvious that I haven’t been deeply involved in NS these past few months, but that’s because I’ve taken up interests elsewhere in my life.
Right now, I’ve been concentrating on my career and took up a hobby of writing. I suppose that’s why I had a penchant for roleplay all these years. I want you all to know that I haven’t felt happier than I have ever felt before. I’m content with where I am in life despite my financial insecurities.
But I want to make something clear. This isn’t farewell. I’ll still hang out on the server every now and then. I don’t intend on severing my connection to this community altogether. Hell, I might make a few RP posts every now and then. But know that I’m doing okay.
You are one of the bulwarks of the RP community. As a fellow writer outside of RP, I hope your writing adventures go well- i know personally how daunting taking up such a project can be!
