Statement on the Investigation into Allegations Against FDIA
Transcript of Delivered Statement

Good morning everyone,

I come before you today to address a matter of grave concern that has recently come to light. After thorough investigation and careful consideration, I must disclose the existence of an inquiry into the actions of the Federal Defense Intelligence Agency (FDIA).

Testimony from multiple whistleblowers has revealed disturbing allegations regarding the treatment of two detainees associated with the Red K insurgency. These individuals were apprehended following the tragic events on Keluk’ka Island on January 10th, where 19 gunmen were neutralized, and 28 Federation sailors, alongside three Emeraldian soldiers, made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The whistleblowers’ accounts suggest that the FDIA subjected the detainees to torture and mistreatment, resulting in critical injuries and otherwise life-threatening conditions. Not only this, but the testimonies allege that the information obtained in these interrogations was used to obtain an arrest warrant for a government official. Such actions, if proven true, are not only morally reprehensible but also violate the fundamental principles of justice and human rights that our federation upholds.

As our investigation progresses, we are committed to ensuring transparency and accountability. We will spare no effort in uncovering the truth and holding those responsible for any wrongdoing accountable under the full extent of the law. As the appointed Attorney General by the Zharan Administration, I have decided it would be in the best interest of the investigation and the nation to recuse myself from this investigation. I have notified the Ludoraiya (the legislative branch), and they will be selecting an Inspector General to lead the investigation into the matter.

At this time, I will not be entertaining questions. However, further updates will be provided as the investigation unfolds.

Thank you for your attention.
