Ladies and gentlemen the sectoral endurance championship for the year 1ABT is around the corner! The sectors best drivers and constructors will once again run their engines hot as hellfire and light up the sector in a stunning display of speed and racecraft in a set of grueling races lasting hours! This year the season starts in Calerost with the grueling 24 hours of Ilanor! The “rocky hell” is notorious for it’s difficulty, especially the Gondcor stretch, the 2 AU section that goes straight trough the gondcor asteroid belt’s densest section, as well as the atmospheric section, going straight trough the ecumenopolis of Ilanor. Have this year’s drivers and teams got what it takes to complete it? There’s only one way to find out!
It was about time that A1-0 got a racing league, and here i am making one. The Sectoral endurance championship, or SEC for short. It is modeled on WEC hypercar, a irl endurance race championship. People are free to make their own endurance races, but I’d like that we have the result of one before we do the next so we can have a actual championship. This race rp will be held this summer, when i have time to manage it.
The rule is up to two teams per country, and then strictly two spaceahips per team and 3 drivers per spaceship. When registering drivers they can have up to 5 championships under their belt, but be realistic. Most drivers don’t ever win a championship, and those who do don’t always repeat it. A 5 championship winner would be someone who’s possibly the greatest of all time.
If a team manufactures their own spaceship write “factory team” at spaceship manufacuter.
