Hey everyone. As was hinted at in the nomination of Vrigny and Nwahs, I am resigning from the Citizenship Committee.
This has probably been a long time coming now, since I’ve really struggled with maintaining my activity on CitComm over the last year and a half. I long hoped I’d find my motivation for this once more and so put off my resignation again and again, but with my (hopefully!) final year of uni just ahead, promising to keep me busy enough already, I think it’s time to finally be realistic. Especially after I explicitly pledged improvement to the Assembly last year, and yet failed to keep up - for which I would very much like to apologize to everyone, and to my fellow CitComm members in particular.
I’m very grateful I got to serve you on CitComm for these… my, four years already?! - together with the many awesome colleagues I had over this time and as an avid lover of procedural stuff, it was a great ride, but it really is time now for fresher faces to take my place.
For my farewell, I’ll also be hosting a cake buffet at the CitComm offices today, so be sure to drop by for some free slices
