I would like to share my decision to resign as Minister of Defence. At the start, my schedule did indeed allow me to begin with the intended changes and actions for the Ministry, but due to a change of schedules (mainly due to university) I will not be able to effectively hold this charge. The only possible way I would have to keep up with the role would affect my studies, and it is something I can’t afford at the moment, I suppose.
Clearly, I would prefer someone that has the time, mood and effort to hold this charge over me, who would barely be able to do what the job demands. I had been thinking about resigning for a bit, since it’s difficult and I didn’t want to in the first place, as I wanted to give this term a fair shot, but as I said, university and some lowered mood has basically made this impossible. I hope you understand, and I wish any next Minister of Defence great success. I will still fulfill my role as one of the SPSF’s officers, though.
