[Res.] Resolution on the Protection of Minors in Entertainment Media

We hear the remarks of the delegation from the Central Bailtemmic Republic and would like to rephrase Section C(2) to the following proposal.

Resolution on the Protection of Minors in Entertainment Media

Section A — Purpose

  1. The World Forum hereby recognises that certain forms of art used in various media are using the sexual depiction of minors as a form of entertainment through forms of images and videos. In spirit, these forms of art are in contradiction with human rights as they propagate the sexual exploitation of minors.

  2. The World Forum hereby calls for the cessation of such entertainment media, prohibit their creation & distribution across each member or non-member nation state.

Section B — Definitions

  1. Defines any depicted individual as underage under the following categories:
    a) A real child.
    b) Any fictional or non-fictional individual intended to appear as a human minor.

  2. The sexual depiction of any individual - as stipulated in Section B. 1 - is defined as the intentional portrayal of actual or simulated explicit sexual acts with said individual or intent of arousal or sexual pleasure within the entertainment consumer through its portrayal.

Section C — Implementation

  1. The World Forums hereby calls for nations for the implementation of national laws by member and non-member nations to prohibit the sexual depiction of minors as stipulation in Section B. 2 as well as their creation and distribution.

  2. The World Forum hereby asks encourages member states to collaborate through the International Anti-Crime Organization to furthermore investigate by issuing World Arrest Warrents against perpretrators of potential breaches of laws defined in Section C. 1 within the organization’s member nations and to prosecute responsible individuals accordingly.
