1. Regional Officer Power Definitions

(1) Under the terms of the act, the following powers are defined as:

1. “Appearance” is the authority to alter the World Factbook Entry, set the displayed flag and banner, add and remove regional tags, control display of the top map, and manage pinned Dispatches.
2. “Border Control” is the authority to eject and ban nations from the region.
3. “Communications” is the authority to send region-wide telegrams, set the welcome telegram, moderate the Regional Message Board, and alter regional recruitment system powers.
4. “Embassies” is the authority to open and close in-game embassies, manage their display order, and control which embassies may cross-post on the Regional Message Board.
5. “Executive” is the authority to appoint and remove Regional Officers, and modify their positions.
6. “Polls” is the authority to create and delete regional polls.
7. “World Assembly” is the authority to approve of World Assembly proposals and to cast the region’s World Assembly votes.

2. Regional Officers

(1) The in-game Delegate will be granted all Regional Officer powers.

(2) The Prime Minister will be granted all non-Border Control Regional Officer powers other than Border Control, Executive, and World Assembly.

This amendment serves two purposes:

1. To not say the Prime Minister should be granted two RO powers that cannot actually be mechanically given to them.
2. To be more accurate on what the RO powers actually do (with what can actually be done with them in our region - you can’t appoint successors, set regional passwords, transition to or from a frontier, or annex or be annexed by frontiers in a feeder)

My gut reaction was “well of course we can’t give the Prime Minister WA or Executive power, how stupid of this to be written out”

Then I was like… “well ya, we actually can’t give them out so it makes sense”

It also could cause problems if someone who doesn’t know that realizes the PM has not been given WA and Exec. It’s very obvious to those who are intimately knowledgeable of RO powers, but is absolutely worth writing out for those who aren’t.
