Hey all,
I will not be running for re-election in the upcoming elections. I know that these kinds of announcements are not common for us. The last (and only) one I can think of was four years ago, and it’s understandable that sometimes these decisions take a little more time and that incumbents, like other candidates, might not decide whether to run until closer to election day. Personally, however, I’ve made my decision, and I hope that sharing it now offers a bit more information for anybody contemplating whether they want to run. It has been an honor to serve as Prime Minister for the past couple of months; I have found it to be rewarding throughout and I wish nothing but the same for my successor.
