What about Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa! ?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa! was carefully considered by the Campaign Committee.
Unfortunately, after an extensive review lasting approximately 0.0003 seconds, it was determined that Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa! lacked sufficient âBop!â to be included in the official platform.
However, if elected Craziest, I pledge to establish a bipartisan commission to investigate the matter of Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!, alongside Oooooooo!, Eeeeeeeee!, and any future excessive vowel-based proposals.
Thank you for your important question. Oooooooo!
You got my vote!
Opinion on the noises radar makes?
Theyâre iconic.
The sweeping âbweep⌠bweep⌠bweepâŚâ of rotating radar in films and older equipment has become shorthand for âsomething is being detected,â even though modern radar systems often donât make audible sounds at all. The noises people associate with radar are usually added for operators or for dramatic effect in media rather than being produced by the radar itself.
As campaign material for âCraziest,â though, Iâd rate them:
Oooooooo! â 10/10
Eeeeeeeee! â 9/10
Bop! â Essential.
Radar: Bweep⌠bweep⌠bweep⌠â Approved. It has a reassuring, mildly mysterious quality and sounds like itâs constantly discovering something important, even if itâs just the office microwave.
I was thinking specifically of the radar in spaceballs with the bleeps, the sweeps, and the creeps
Weâve got the bleeps⌠the sweeps⌠and the creeps. What more could a sane candidate offer?
Jam
Jam.
A bold addition to the campaign platform.
After careful consideration, I can confirm that Jam has the necessary qualities required for a Craziest campaign:
Sticky? DING!
Confusingly versatile? DING!
Somehow both breakfast and a traffic problem? DING!
Capable of causing a minor crisis when dropped on a carpet? DING!
The official position is:
Oooooooo!
Eeeeeeeee!
Bop!
Bleeps! Sweeps! Creeps!
Jam!
A truly unhinged coalition of noises and condiments. The voters demand answers. The toast demands jam.
Be careful to not let the jam near the bleeps sweeps or creeps
A wise campaign safety policy.
The official Craziest position is now:
Keep the jam away from the bleeps, sweeps, and creeps.
Why? Because nobody wants a radar malfunction caused by a sticky substance interfering with the machinery. One minute youâre detecting enemy spaceships, the next youâre trying to explain why the radar screen smells like strawberries.
Emergency protocol:
Bleeps: Keep clean and dry.
Sweeps: No spreading allowed.
Creeps: Absolutely no jam handling privileges.
A vote for this campaign is a vote for responsible nonsense management.
I do have some very important questions
Ice cream?
Trains?
These are exactly the kind of serious policy questions a Craziest candidate must be prepared for.
Ice cream?
A cornerstone of civilisation. A magnificent substance that proves humanity can take frozen dairy and turn it into happiness. However, strict regulations are needed: ice cream must not be allowed near the jam unless toast is present, and absolutely nowhere near the bleeps, sweeps, or creeps.
Trains?
Highly suspicious but extremely useful. They go choo choo, they have schedules, and they occasionally appear exactly when you donât want them to. A full investigation is required into whether trains are secretly just very long cars wearing a disguise.
Official campaign position:
Ice cream: Approved.
Trains: Under observation.
Jam: Restricted around sensitive radar equipment.
Bleeps, sweeps, and creeps: Protected national treasures.
The people deserve answers. The trains deserve tracks. The ice cream deserves a spoon. Oooooooo! Eeeeeeeee! Bop!
If you need help researching the trains let me know
Excellent. The campaign welcomes your offer of assistance in this vital area of national inquiry.
The Department of Train Research and Unnecessary Investigation is currently accepting expert testimony on the following matters:
Why do trains always seem to know where they are going.
Whether choo choo is a language or merely a warning.
Why trains are allowed to be so long without anyone asking them to walk backwards.
Whether the people on platforms are waiting for trains, or whether the trains are waiting for them.
The possibility that a train is just a collection of smaller trains cooperating in a trench coat.
Your expertise may prove essential.
However, a reminder from the campaign: do not bring jam into the train research facility. We are still recovering from the Great Bleep-Sweep-Creep Incident. Oooooooo!
Trains always seem to know where they are going because they always know where they are go by subtracting where they arenât going from where they could go
Choo Choo is both a language and warning, different combinations of Choo and chooooo mean different things
Trains do not walk so they cannot walk backwards
Trains do not usually wait for people but people wait for trains
Trains can be split down onto many different trains, if even 1 car has a locomotive it could be considered a train
Be warned, some trains have jam on board
As a fluent speaker of âring ringâ the native language of bicycles and tricycles, I cannot in good faith support this campaign without a promise for funding towards the development of bicycles and tricycles. Can you promise to support the bicycling tricycling union?
Finding 1: Trains know where they are going by subtracting where they arenât going from where they could go.
This is mathematically sound enough that nobody should question it.
Finding 2: Choo Choo is both a language and a warning.
The Department therefore recognises Railway Choo as a living language. Fluency requires careful attention to vowel length.
Choo â greeting.
Choooo â caution.
Choo choo â âGood morning.â
CHOOOOOO! â âEmergency! There is a goose on the line!â
Finding 3: Trains cannot walk backwards because trains do not walk.
An excellent clarification. Previous research incorrectly assumed the existence of train legs.
Finding 4: People wait for trains, not the other way around.
This supports the long-held theory that trains possess an impressive sense of punctual indifference.
Finding 5: A train may become multiple trains.
The Committee accepts this as evidence that trains reproduce by strategic uncoupling.
WARNING: Some trains contain jam.
This is a significant development.
The campaignâs existing policy of keeping jam away from the bleeps, sweeps, and creeps must now be expanded to include:
Do not store radar equipment in the buffet car.
Inspect all jars before boarding.
If a train carrying jam approaches a radar installation, maintain a safe spread distance.
The Craziest Campaign thanks you for your invaluable contribution to the field of railology. Further research into locomotives, signal boxes, and the grammatical structure of Choo Choo is encouraged. Oooooooo! Eeeeeeeee! Bop!
Absolutely.
After lengthy negotiations with representatives of the Bicycling and Tricycling Union (BTU), conducted entirely by bell, I am pleased to announce the following policy:
A Craziest administration will support the responsible development of bicycles and tricycles through appropriate funding, research, and bell preservation initiatives.
Key commitments include:
Increased investment in bicycle and tricycle infrastructure.
Protection and promotion of Ring Ring, the native language of bicycles and tricycles.
Establishment of a RailâCycle Translation Office to improve communication between speakers of Choo Choo and Ring Ring.
Strict prohibition on storing unsecured jam in bicycle baskets adjacent to sensitive radar installations.
I also wish to recognise Ring Ring as a language distinct from Choo Choo. While both employ repetitive sounds, they are not mutually intelligible. Linguists have long observed that a bicycle saying âRing ring!â is not asking to become a train, and a train saying âChoo choo!â is not requesting handlebars.
Therefore, I proudly endorse cooperation with the Bicycling and Tricycling Union in the spirit of peaceful coexistence between wheeled peoples.
Oooooooo!
Eeeeeeeee!
Bop!
Ring ring!
Choo choo!
Together, we can build a future where the bleeps, the sweeps, the creeps, the trains, the bicycles, and even the occasional jam all have their place.
