Minister-President Pierre Francoeur is expected to make its first trip to Anserisa next week.
This will be the first official travel for any Mauquibian official since the July 31st events of 2021, where former Minister-President Raymond Doumergue escaped his arrest by fleeing to the small nation.

A representative of the movement announced a press conference at 22:10. The movement has been meeting inside a conference hall since 09:00 this morning. After a message leak this morning many suspect that the movement will formalise in a political party, which could threaten the Technocrats, whose ratings have been plummeting recently.

The crisis meeting of the cabinet is still ongoing. Due to it being in a private part of the party house - which has several sleeping rooms exactly for these reasosn -, no one knows whether the discussions are over or not.
A well respected senior member of the party said earlier today: “If the head of the party is smart they will know that the only future this party has is a united one. A formation of a new party would not only be a death sentence for us but socialist ideas in Eflad as well.”
Several food delivery people have been seen entering and exiting the house. The only comment they had was: “Sorry, sorry, I have to go, the next customers are waiting. Thank you.”

After 13 hours of debate behind closed doors, a designated representative of the movement came out of the door and stood on an improvised small podest of beer crates.

"Dear ladies and gentlemen of the press, I am happy to have the privilege and honour to present to you what we have discussed and decided in the last couple, well many couple of hours.
Bounded together by our common beliefs, our will to change something and our misinterpretation in our country, we have met here today to discuss the future of the common Efladian man.
The quorum has decided by a vote of majority to influence the highest of politics in our country for the better, by finding a new party. A party which will represent the traditional, down to earth values; a party which has “Freedom and Security through Responsibility” as its goal. To create an Eflad not for the rich and ideological, but for the common man. The Democratic Union.
In the following days, a founding meeting will be announced, where the party will be formally established.

The Capital Suspension Bridge, 1 of 5 bridges that connects New Mako to Izaakston has been closed following a helicopter crash into the bridge. Several casualties have been reported, however emergency services are still actively responding to the scene.

Finixi metal group and animation company Gemina Rocks! has partnered with bands Embers and Ash, Oceanpearl, and Feather of Paradise for a projected 5 season animated show called Ha’a Maisi’i (“Rise” for international publications).
The show is said to be driven by an older man set on abolishing music and taking the color out of the world. It will also feature songs performed by esch of the bands, written specifically for the show.
The intro was already released, a single called “The Songs We Sang”, performed by the collective group.
The first season is said to be released “soon.”

Police report that 9 people have died in the helicopter crash on the Capital Bridge. They are currently investigating the circumstances, however are not treating the event as suspicious.
Earlier today, the party secretary Mikela was spotted smoking and laughing with the faction leader, the party leader, and another party secretary, who is member of the Moderate Left.
After seven days of deliberation the meeting has come to an end. A press conference was just concluded. Here are the most important parts:
Mikele: “In the last seven days, we have discusses the most fundamental of problems. My comrades (original: Genossen) from the Moderate Left feel that the course of our party is not a one we can support. […] Inner party politics have become mor important that making change for the better. There is also a certain elitism and arrogance for those who dare to be moderate socialists. The party we joined has changed and so have we. Our interests and ideas part ways, and so must we.”

The Stoinian government is currently in a small constitutional quandary as Crown Prince Aurelian Cuza, currently serving as regent for the duration of King Andrei III’s visit to the ISS, has enacted a Royal Edict. The edict stipulates a royal prerogative that all monarch should abdicate at the age of 65, but politicians have raised the concern that the Crown Prince might be trying to abuse his power. The Supreme Court is to hold an emergency session due to the Royal Edict’s precipitate nature.

The Ryccian government has announced an ambitious economic recovery and stabilization plan reportedly handled by “technocratically-appointed economic experts and social scientists of relevant fields”. Some key policies include the slashing of the military budget by almost a third, the decomissioning of half of the existing nuclear weapons stockpile, lowered taxes on small and medium-sized businesses, the liberalization of regulations to make it easier to do business, deficit spending to rebuild the country’s infrastructure and state-owned enterprises, and other measures meant to promote economic growth. Given the Ryccian economy’s catastrophic contraction of -20% due to the junta’s rule, the new state budget is expected to nevertheless be smaller than that of previous years. To cement the certainty of this programme, all major political parties have signed a “national contract” agreeing to limit partisan intervention in the plans and instead “promote consensus-based economic policies and decisions” to prevent any market uncertainty. Critics raise alarm over the government’s plan to incur debt all while revenues are expected to be less than usual. The government has urged the international community to support Ryccia’s recovery and growth, stating that “only a prosperous and flourishing economy can prevent any kind of radicalism from exploding in Ryccia again. It is in the interests of the world to promote Pacifican peace and stability by encouraging economic growth. Only then can Ryccia truly return to greatness”.

Stoinian politicians raise concerns while other support the Crown Prince’s Royal Edict. The Supreme Court hasn’t yet issued a statement on the matter. Doubts are raised on whether or not to contact the Stoinian King in space to weigh in on the situation, although his verdict is to be considered naught as Crown Prince Aurelian is currently serving as his Regent.
