Limited protests have organized in several Visrodin cities after the veto by the House of Barons of the legislation to put an end to public executions in the Kingdom. Such legislation to ban the practice was passed on a relatively wide margin on the House of Delegates (the lower house), but the Barons and nobles of the upper house rejected it.

It is not the first time the House of Barons has rejected this legislation to put an end to this outdated practice, but this time it has been reignited due to the public execution by hanging of 2 members of the National Republican Front. They were found trespassing the Royal Palace in Sarnitsa by the Green Guard (Royal Guard), and later on they confessed they were planning to kidnap 7 year old Prince Stefan Rucheyski.

The Sedunnic government is understood to advocate a “Reizen solution” to the ongoing conflict in the TCC. It allegedly entails a temporary coalition of the Southern Terminan Provisional Government and Termina Commerce Guild and their respective foreign backers against the Nationalist Coalition. After having defeated the Nationalists, there would be a referendum on the future governance of the TCC similar to the referendum in Reizen.

The USI calls for the CE to coordinate with Izaakia against the Terminan Nationalists, and for both sides to avoid direct involvement in the STPG and TCG dispute. Foreign Secretary Scarlett Blanc said that any direct involvement of the CE against the STPG or the USI against the TCG has the potential for escalation into a global conflict, which should be avoided at all costs.

On Monday morning, Gianatlan chancellor Sanddorn has invited representatives of the CE allies and the USI to convene in Atlantis to work on a strategy to fight against the rogue nationalist forces in Termina and to negotiate a plan to create stability in Crabry. A contact to the STPG and TCG shall be created as well as a corner stone for a potential mediation process.

It is expected, CE members will accept the invitation to the meeting, which would likely take place between the holidays. It is yet unclear how the USI might react, considering their latest rhetoric, ought to present primarily them as defenders of democracy and creators of a quick peace in the TCC for several days before the official invitation by CE-member GIanatla was transmitted.

In terms of a “Reizen solution” brought in by the Sedunnic government, the Gianlucian chancellery and foreign ministry refrained from commenting on it at this time. “Our general position is known, but we must focus on having negotiations now to prevent an expansion of the conflict.”

Officials from Xion town disagreed with the idea of cooperating with the STPG saying, “The STPG threatens the liberty and sovereignty of Xion and the rest of the confederacy. They are opportunistic snakes who waited for the Guild to be laid low by another threat to make their move.”

Meanwhile the Frost Empire and the STPG continued to trade blows along the disputed ‘Xion Security line’ as the STPG attempts to dislodge the Empire from their fortifications.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined this request to open Airfields, which are Kliegmean state facilities, due to Kalakian hostility to Kliegme, referring to Sanctions that Kliegme deems unjust. (OOC: 8% cut? Really?)

However, it has informed the Kalakian Embassy that as far as it is aware, the Terminan City State of Mipha is acting as a hub for Humanitarian Aid to be distributed throughout the turmoil, and its safety is largely secured.

The Samarahi Department of Health has reported a notable increase in the incidence of mosquito-borne illnesses, particularly dengue fever and West Nile fever, in the Marahu River Valley region after a minor tropical storm significantly raised the incidence of standing water in the area two weeks ago. Further heavy rain is forecasted for most of southern Pelinai throughout next week, which may further boost the prevalence of tiger mosquitos and other known vector mosquitos.

Public health authorities have begun distributing mosquito coils, nets, and other anti-mosquito items as larger vector control measures are prepared, and the federal Ministry of Health is monitoring the epidemiological situation. Civilians have been advised to remove standing water near homes, use insect repellent when leaving the house, and avoid unnecessary travel to wetland areas where tiger mosquitos are known to be prevalent.
