The University of Ha’Hani’s ballroom has been closed for reservations for the last week of November. No official announcement was made in regards to this closure. However, rumors are circulating that the university may be hosting an international event.

VKS: The Valkyrian Gendarmerie has detained “thousands” of Romordians who unlawfully crossed into the state’s maritime boundaries. The national government has yet to make a decision on what to do with the undocumented migrants, but sources state that “most” of the detained Romordians may be granted asylum.

The Jakubian Army estimates that about 293.6 million Jakubian Zlotys have gone missing awake of the preparations for the nation’s yearly economic review. When Major General Żurowsk, head of the Eastern Command Zone of Jakub, was asked to comment he claimed, “We currently cannot disclose any information on the matter.”

The Ryccian government has declared the Valkyrian group “Black Death” a terrorist organization. “We were one of the first to oppose the Valkyrian invasion of Hystaiga. This terrorist gang is the perpetrator of this tragedy that befell our continent years ago. The attack on Hystaiga is now proven to have been premature and unjustified, and we offer any assistance we can provide to the Valkyrian government to hunt down these criminals who tricked their country’s leaders into an unnecessary war. The Black Death must be exterminated from the face of Pacifica to restore peace to Cordillia and bring justice to all those who have suffered because of their deceitful actions”.

The FiHami Surfer’s Association have formally signed up as a political party. The head of the party, Tatiana Hastofi, told local news networks that their goal as a political association is to “promote the cultural significance of surfing to FiHami… and to bring back the dang parliament.”
Acting Chief Hana has pledged her support to the organization and signed up as a member, an action that has been publicly criticized, especially by the Finixi priesthood.
A vote to reinstate FiHami’s parliament will occur early december.

The Valkyrian government has declared a national state of emergency in response to the threat posed by Svartedauden. The declaration received support from the storting and approval from the jarlskona, effective through 12 February 2024. The Defence Force has been mobilised to assist the National Police.

Jakubian President Wiktor Ruskowski called for the formation of an “Axis of Democracy” in a recent public appearance.
[President Ruskowski stood in front of the reporters at the podium of the Presidential House’s press room. The clip began at the ending of another question, but quickly moved onto the topic the PNN wishes to showcase.]
“…ion will eventually be tracked, I ensure it,” The president ended as he moved on to the next reporter.
“Mr. President, do you have any ideas for preventing another invasion like what is currently going on in Romordia?” A reporter asked with a pen and notepad out. He sounded somewhat smug about the question as if he was trying to “checkmate” the president.
The President thought for just a few seconds before he began to speak, “I call upon the free and democratic nations of Crabry to prepare against these military juntas and dictatorships. If we stand together under the Axis of Democracy of this great continent of Crabry, then we will all fall like dominos to communism and despotism. It is liberty or death, no other way.”
“Thank you, Mr. President,” The reporter said as he sat back down.

Point Rainers witnessed a strange sight Monday morning as leaflets fell across the city states informing citizens of an impromptu festival funded by Point Rain Armories. The company also held a short press conference where a company spokesperson claimed “Once again the truth continues to vindicate the company’s faith and efforts to assist our Hystaigan friends. Point Rain Armories has received permission from Governor General Garak Nobel to host a territory wide festival to honor the Hystaigan people and lift up the spirits of our fellow terminans battered by this recession.”

The Tachong Provincial Council has initiated a nuclear proliferation programme, though through technicality, instead of actual material acquisition and processing, by passing an edict declaring the province’s intentions to “acquire nuclear weapons to strike at its foes in Arnchow and beyond”. Arnchiites in Chongkang feel that “their government has finally lost it” and is begging the Peony to “personally overthrow the entire provincial government, like your seniors did last time in the Great War”.

The Ezervulgish and Sedunnic coast guards will practise search and rescue together in the western Mediterranean Sea. The aim is to increase the two nations’ ability save lives on the high seas but it is also part of the effort to build trust between the old rivals. This is the second time such an exercise occurs.

The University of Ha’Hani has sent invitations to a global Culture Potluck organized by the Department of Sociology of the University. People across Pacifica are encouraged to purchase tickets to the event and bring dishes representative of everyone’s cultures. There will be a panel held by several speakers discussing culture and global peace, though they have not been announced yet.
The potluck will occur November 19th-21st, 2023.

During the ongoing investigation into the Jakubian Government’s investigation of the armed force’s 1.4 billion missing Jakubian Zlotys, investigators have discovered that at least 5.6k Infantry Rifles, 34 MBTs (of Jakub’s 71), and multiple unarmored vehicles have gone missing as well.

As Midsummer approaches in Antarcha, citizens have prepared excitedly for the University of Antarcha’s day of free courses, available for anyone able to attend in-person without being enrolled at the school.
Many Antarchan citizens also engage in debates during Midsummer due to the ancient belief that knowledge is best released on Midsummer.
“The ancient Antarchans were on to something when they realized that the summertime was easiest for intellectual pursuits.” Dr. Geoffries Lwellian, Professional Student, told news sources. “During the summer, food is plentiful. Food reserves are prepared for the harsh winters. Sometimes it even gets hot enough to melt the snow. Our ancestors could relax from the harsh tasks of ensuring survival and focus on more intellectual matters. And their brains were further able to process these matters, due to the abundance of energy and high levels of omega acids in their diet, since fresh fish was more than just plentiful. Even though we no longer worry so much about survival and food is plentiful throughout the year, culturally our brains are sharpest around Midsummer.”

After 5 months of assessments, data collection, and engineering planning, workers have officially begun the process of emptying the network of ash ponds next to the Yuzireka Tributary Power Station near Tsugunare, Pelinai. Pelinai’s national electricity company, Narodo-Denshi, stated that the emptying is being done due to the high risk of groundwater contamination, as well as geographical and weather changes that make one or more pond breaches more likely without costly routine maintenance. Project timeline projections expect an extended work period due to the large volume of material; the complex contains approximately 58,000 tonnes of coal ash across 9 separate ash ponds, all of which will need to be moved elsewhere for recycling due to current Pelinese laws governing the disposal of coal waste products.
