Nihoa, the Chancellor of Keanu and Hurley has ordered the seizure of assets in accounts at the Hurley and Papillon Bank, The Keanu Bank, and the Jaques Bank and Trading Co. Chancellor Nihoa said “We’ve received intelligence from our neighbours in Izaakia that these accounts have been used as fronts for Terra Firma, and that they have been directly involved in financing the ALF terror organisation. The seized assets are estimated to be worth £80 million, almost 10% of our annual tax revenue, and will be used to fund the rebuilding of the nation following Cyclone Himiko earlier this year. We thank Terra Firma for their generous donation.”

A video is circulating online of a Zweisaubach University student, studying cyber-security, giving a ‘lecture’ in his free time on “What are the Izaakian Secret Services and how do they work?” in Lecture Hall 1. The lecture consists of the student stating “What are the Izaakian Secret Services? Well, I’ll show you!”, followed by three hours of the student moving his head and hands as if pretending to talk; going through a series of stock images with the question written below, but keeping silent and his mouth shut, sprinkled with moments of him fiddling with a puzzle cube, checking his phone and drinking water from his water bottle, before finally ending off with a “Thank you”. The student is yet to be named.

The Kingdom of Pelinai has officially concluded festivities for the 41st annual Victory Day, which commemorates the end of the Pelinese Civil War and the fall of socialism in Pelinai. Celebrations primarily centered around military parades in Pelograd, Tsugunare, Letograd, Korolyeviya, Dainēsa, and Zholtograd, as well as multiple smaller cities, which this year included various elements of the Pelinese White Army, Pelinese Registered Cossacks, Pelgvardiya, and Pelinese Civil Defense Forces, as well as formation flyovers performed by the Royal Pelinese Air Force and the Royal Pelinese Navy Air Service. Other events included fireworks displays and barbecue parties, as well as smaller community outreach events held by the Pelinese Armed Forces and adjacent services.

In a move seen as a further reform of the military, the parliament has passed legislation expanding the scope of the military offense of divestiture, and making the penalties harsher. Members of both chambers’ respective defense committees stated that their “joint investigations have concluded that one of the reasons lower-level officers and enlisted soldiers followed the orders of their superiors in the junta so readily involved intimidation from the top brass, threatening harsh reprisals and court-martials if their subordinates did not comply”. Legislation reforming the military courts and how military legislation is conducted has also been passed. Until now, the armed forces had some say in military legislation and could even amend some laws themselves without legislative approval, provided it was not vetoed by neither the executive or legislative branches. Military courts are now no longer under the sole jurisdiction of the armed forces, as a new Committee on Military Justice will be established to oversee and regulate the military judicial system. A third will be composed of nominees from the executive, half shall be appointed by the legislature, and the remaining fifth will be composed of candidates approved by Ryccia’s highest civilian courts and law academies. Further reforms have been proposed, including the creation of the office of “commissar”. A rank often used in marxist armies to impose ideological uniformity in their security services, the nature of these new officers would be apolitical and would be more akin to an investigator meant to periodically monitor the conduct of superior officers, as well as covertly investigate any breach of military law by said members of the officer corps. However, due to the controversy surrounding the idea and the fear of politicization of the military by creating this rank, the bill meant to implement it remains under consideration, as it is believed it would fail narrowly if it were brought to a vote as is. The concept is also vehemently opposed by most of the top brass, including prominent moderates who aided in the overthrow of the military regime last year, describing it as “draconian”, “prone to corruption” and “dangerous for the apolitical independence of the armed forces”.

When asked about the Valkyrian left’s plans to nationalize wide sectors of the economy, a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry stated, “we have no intention to interfere in the domestic affairs of another state so long as it does not jeopardize our national security, and we do not consider domestic expropriations in Valkyria to be such a threat. However, if such plans do come to fruition, the Ryccian government will demand that any Ryccian citizens and corporate entities affected by these economic changes be compensated fairly. We will protest any attempts to, in effect, steal the property of our citizens and private entities by the misuse of legislative power”. The Finance Ministry has also issued an official investment warning for the Valkyrian private sector, encouraging Ryccian citizens and corporate entities to “exercise great caution and avoid wherever possible any business ventures that may end up in the expropriation of the assets of Ryccian citizens and companies by the Valkyrian state”.

In recent years, it has been shown that people in the LGBT+ are still an oppressed group in many places, and that’s why we aim to help these people, whether it be helping them find job opportunities, treatments, or in some cases helping them migrate to more accepting places, with the assurance that they have a better life with our help.
That’s why we ask help to other LGBT+ communities outside Rhayna, or governments willing to help our cause in any way they can."

the KGS, an Organization for the LGBT movement and its supporters, have shown interest in participating in the Rhaynan organisation as a way to keep their influence from waning.
As the KGS is facing a financial issue as support for the movement decreased due to recent events, it is expected that the organization will benefit greatly from cooperation internationally.

Lorena Ballons, Vrigny’s President, has called upon her emergency powers to sign a decree allowing her to lower the number of votes in Parliament to accept a new constitution from 2/3s of 325, to ½. Considering Vrigny’s current political crisis, many applaud her effort to get the newly written constitution to pass. Even members from the former opposition (The 93 members had to leave their seats due to the disbandment of their political party; Independent MPs are not allowed in Parliament) support her measures. The only firm opposition against her main plan to lower Vrigny’s electoral threshold from the “dictatorial” 25% to a very liberal 1% is within the Far-left wing of her party, The Worker’s Union.
This opposition is the main reason she signed said decree to lower the necessary votes to get the new, more liberal constitution without any relation to the previous Lawfenist dictatorship to be adopted by the Parliament, considering the 93 members of the opposition are unable to vote. Without the decree, the constitution would have needed 217/232 available votes (the far-left would have enough votes to reject it), but now achieving 163/232 votes seems realistic.
The vote will be held in three days. The Worker’s Union is already showing cracks in its union, just like the Center Coalition did a week before its implosion. The future of Vrigny depends on this constitutional change; it’s clear the people want a multiple-party democracy, not just a bipartisan democracy. If the electoral threshold of 25%, there is a risk of the Parliament becoming completely held by one party if the rest of the vote is divided…

One of Keanu and Hurleys 4 Sallocopter aircraft taken down by a surface to air missile over Jaques during a reconnaissance mission. The pilot, Co-pilot and surveillance officer are all believed to have died. The other three helicopters were recalled from the mission to protect the assets for potential use. This is the first time in Keanuan history that an aircraft has been lost in action.
Prime Minister Taika described the situation as “a highly sophisticated attack on Keanuan soil”, and announced a full mobilisation of the Keanuan defence forces.
