Stoinian PM, Ocana Sujin, has finally given a statement regarding the legalisation of certain drugs in Valkyria amidst the wave of criticism from the international community: “Valkyria is Valkyria. A relatively stable economy & country and above all, a stable democracy. Since when is it up to us to say how a democratic country should rule? We can agree to disagree with the left-leaning government, but all I can say is this… Stoino-Valkyrian relations have soured ever since the fall of the conservative government. Stoinians in Corinia have no need for the polarisation of relations and better yet, Stoinian businesses have voiced their continued interest in the Valkyrian market. First world countries shouldn’t eat their own while more nations threaten to crumble into decay.”

The Myrian Government and Industrial Officials have made a committee to deal with the economic crisis, however, while the Myrian population will support anything that will alleviate the situation, much of the economic wealth to actually carry out those alleviations lies in the companies. It is yet to be seen whether the YH government can find a compromise with both sides walking out happy.

Kliegmean MK-31s have launched KH-61 Anti-Ship Missiles at the ERF naval formations near Spiras, hoping to deplete their anti-air capabilities, or even sink them. Given the Numerous Missiles being launched, it is expected that either of the two will be achieved.

Higher activity has been spotted in military bases near the border with Fauderland. It is believed this is due to the uptick in Fauderlandish military activity on the border. The Ministry of Military Affairs released a statement saying that while the border presence of Fauderland is concerning, it is nothing to be worried about at this time.

Following the legalization of psilocybin by the Valkyrian government, Chancellor Müller had commented on Prime Minister Bennett’s statements during the legalization debate:
"I would like to remind our southern neighbor that the Weissersteiner government does not have any problems with Valkyria deciding to legalize drugs within their borders. We do not share similar views on drugs, but we respect the decision nonetheless.
However, we simply stated our opposition to any attempts by the Valkyrian government to push for drug legalization within our borders. We would like for the Valkyrian government to respect our decision in this matter, similar to how we’ve respected theirs.
I like to consider myself a somewhat religious man, so I understand and respect Prime Minister Bennett’s decision, which was also grounded in Valkyria’s rich tradition and history with these substances, and grounded in the Valrissi belief. But there too, we would like for the Valkyrian government to respect our decision, as our prohibition on these substances are grounded in our religious beliefs, where both of our largest religions, Christianity and Islam, forbid the use of these substances.
Nonetheless, I would like to apologize to Prime Minister Bennett and the Valkyrians if any of our decisions or actions regarding drugs might’ve been seen as offensive to the Valkyrian people. Though this does not mean Weisserstein’s stance and policies on drug usage will change."

Following President Van Den Bergh’s press conference this morning, Sallodesia has mobilised forces to intervene in the wartorn neighbour of Detroix. Helicopters & planes have been sent to provide air support against the communist front. Meanwhile, the Kanaka Pacific Fleet, which was recalled to Port Carlchester a week ago, has engaged the communist navy in conjunction with elements of the Peneshire Defence Fleet & Hudson Strike Fleet and sunk four destroyer. Admiral Ewan D. Willis, the commander of the naval task force, has called the operation Sallodesia’s finest naval operation to date.
In addition, Sallodesian Special Forces have located nationalist leaders from Detroxia. However, they were forced to shoot on sight as the leaders resisted capture resulting in the elimination of the entire nationalist leadership.

When asked by a reporter, a member of the Ryccian Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee stated “I don’t have any problems with drug use, and neither does my Labour Party. I myself used medicinal cannabis for some body pains a few years ago and some of my Senate colleagues smoke pot in their private time, but I don’t think you’ll find anyone in our committee or in the Ryccian cabinet who goes in front of reporters and taunts the international community by lighting up some weed like a defiant child. Parliament would sack our Prime Minister if she did that. If I drank a whole bottle of vodka to mock another country’s alcohol restrictions and their valid concerns, would any of you take me seriously as a public official whose portfolio includes foreign affairs? I think we’d ought to have more respect for others and our differences on issues. Let’s be serious and professional, can’t we ask that of our leaders and of others abroad?”

In a press conference. The Peony unveiled her thoughts on the recent turmoil of the region.
“Our coordination with the LoC and the World Forum in the recent global conflicts in Emerald, Spiras, Detroxia and Cimbria will continue to go on. We shall continue to commit imperial aid, both martial and humanitarian means, to maintain regional stability.”
The Peony however maintains the reluctance of the government in committing full martial aid or the formal declaration of war at this time.
“Our great people must present itself as a force of peace through power. In such comes great responsibility and need for wisdom. It is our policy that Huawan will not be the world police and only acts upon the interests of peace and the necessity of its people and allies.”
Analysts and think tanks unveiled that despite Huawan’s involvement in recent global conflicts, its martial commitments have not risen to the levels of the Rycco-Cordilian war fought prior. The recent eastern earthquake, a negative image of Huawan’s involvement in global conflicts by its allies and its recent application to the CE may be a factor that played out.
Still Huawan has not demobilized its military since the Rycco-Cordilian war and may be expected to play a higher role should tensions worsen.

General Secretary Hervey Fillip held a conference, speaking on the recent global conflicts in Emerald, Spiras, Dextoria and Cimbria.
“We shall support any communist allies that are fighting against imperialism, but for the betterment of all, these conflicts must end. Do we wish for these conflicts to continue? For more bloodshed to be spilled? The international community must do something, in some way. I am announcing today that Urkennalaid will open up our borders to refugees from these countries and give economic aid. Despite whatever political disagreements my country and people have with others, we wish for no more conflict.”
This has come to a stunning shock to much of the nation, with Urkennalaid having had an isolationist policy for decades. Some citizens have announced reluctance to opening up borders to refugees, wanting to not get themselves involved in an international conflict, but this has been one of the many policies General Secretary Hervy Fillip has done to get Urkennalaid recognized on the international world stage. Time can only tell whether this will be for better or for worse.

Civil war update: Following the naval skirmish in the Sea of St. Alexander, the communist controlled navy withdrew to the ports in Alexandrgrad. The governmental fotces started concentrating near the city and Regan forces began skirmishes with the communists in the north. Izaakian intervention force has crossed the border, travelling on the A-5 highway towards Bear Valley. The intervention force consists of several armored units and is escorted by Regan forces. With the help of Sallodesia and Izaakia, the air superiority is in the hands of the government, with communist AA units disabled by either air strikes or partizans. “Space Marines” are still holding.

The state-owned Imperial and Royal Airlines (Kaiserliche und Königliche Fluggesellschaften; alternatively KUK Airlines) plans on introducing unlimited free Wi-Fi for all Kronenflyer* members as early as August this year. This came after the introduction of unlimited free Wi-Fi for premium travelers in late 2021.
Kronenflyer is the name given to the frequent flyer and airport lounge programs of Imperial and Royal Airlines. The name is derived from the Weissersteiner Imperial Crown, which is used in the airline’s logo.

The Sedunnic minister of defence has confirmed that a “massive, decisive” strike against the ERF and ERF-aligned forces in the Strait of Saint Michael has been carried out. It involved the a majority of the Sedunnic air force and navy, as well as forces from “partner nations” who he said should be allowed to discuss their participation at a time that suits them.
A number of ERF ships have surrendered and there are also rescue operations taking place in the Strait, and the recommendation against civilian traffic is still in place.

Admiral FitzHerbert commented on the St Michael Straights endeavour saying “We don’t discuss tactical details, however, a number of Izaakian Navy ships went into battle, and the same number came out. Some of them have been damaged, but not criticality, and we’ve lost two jets, but the pilots have been recovered. “
