The Valkyrian ambassador stated that the Valkyrian Republic respects all just laws passed by foreign sovereign states. However, Valkyria and its officials have every right to criticise all unjust laws. Valkyrians, including our prime minister have a right to consume cannabis and coca within Valkyria. Also, the vast majority of Valkyrians practice a religion that includes the use of cannabis and psilocybin in religious rituals. Therefore, we see any encroachment on their right to use such substances outside Valkyria as a violation of religious rights. We hereby ask Ryccia to recognize and respect those rights.

Kliegme has summoned the Valkyrian Ambassador to show contempt over Benett’s unprofessional antics, as the Prime Minister seems to be relying on what he thinks makes him look cool, instead of actually acting to explain his position and assure foreign nations that the concerns from them is being considered or dealt with in an active and productive manner by the Valkyrian Government. Despite Benett’s intentions, shutting down any discussion and relying on basic insults did not make his perception any better in Kliegme, in fact, the opposite. Shortly after, the Kliegmean MFA has made a statement regarding Valkyria. “Valkyrian laws, made by Valkyrian Officials, whom were elected by the Valkyrian people, is indisputable within Valkyria. Kliegme trys to respect Valkyria’s position. However, like our Valkyrian colleagues, we reserve the right to criticise all unjust laws.”

The clarification from the Valkyrian government has generated mixed reactions among Ryccian officials. While drug use is legal in Ryccia, the state regulates and controls all of its trade, including sale, permission of possession, import and export. There is concern among politicians that Valkyria would sanction Valkyrian citizens breaking import laws for “religious reasons”, potentially creating a loophole to smuggle drugs into the country without state control. The Ryccian government has reiterated its stance that its restrictions on the importation of drugs, and Ryccian laws on the matter overall, will be upheld without exception and must be respected by both Valkyrian citizens and Valkyrian authorities. The Ryccian government has also attempted to reassure other countries, stating that it will take the “necessary security measures and will fully cooperate to prevent smuggling and the breaking of the laws of foreign states. We will do our part to uphold our sovereign rights and that of others on this matter. We hope the Valkyrian authorities take note and assist in the preservation of the rule of law”.

The Dacian Government is rapidly getting more unstable. After the April Legaslative Elections, Chancellor Dorin Bârladeanu’s UDW party has fallen from getting 54% of the country’s votes to only 46%.
Melania Drăgan’s DEU, Dorin’s rival in the 2022 elections, has risen from a 25% to a 32%. Due to the UDW losing their majority in Parliament, there is a scramble of coalitions currently ongoing. It is expected that a new coalition will be formed by next week, however until then, the country will be on fire.

The Supreme Court of Izaakia rules against the government on their constitutional amendments following a challenge by Ernest LeRogue MP. The Supreme Court has said that there is no legal requirement for a new democratic mandate, however, historical precedence indicates that a new democratic mandate should be sought in order to pursue such a extreme reform programme, as it was not a manifesto policy.

The Sugovian Minister of Education stated in a press conference that she wishes to push further the use of “Perfected Spelling” for Sugovian orthography.
Perfected Spelling (Sugovian: Perfektionerte Rehtshreiboung) is one of two spelling systems used for the Sugovian language, the other being the Old Spelling (Sugovian: Alte Rehtshreiboung). It was originally adopted in the 1970s as part of the language renewal for Sugovian, as well as part of an initiative to better harmonize Sugovian orthography with neighboring Weisserstein. Perfected Spelling however was dropped in the 1990s during the Republican Movement-led coalition government under Said Hamid, and Old Spelling was reintroduced. Perfected Spelling was not phased out during this period however, and so Sugovia had two parallel spelling systems in use between the 1990s and today.
Now, as part of the new government program to boost and harmonize the education system, all schools will be mandated to teach the Sugovian language and orthography in the Perfected Spelling systems.

The Court has ruled that, based on the evidence and confessions gathered, it was found that the majority of the fishermen were only aware that they were entering Kliegmean waters to catch eels, and were lied to that the border crossing was sanctioned by the Kliegmean government. The fact that it was their first offense was not forgotten by the court. The court has fined 13 out of 15 fishermen with a fine of 500$, combining the border intrusions and the poaching. The 13 fishermen, after they have paid or have someone pay the fine, will be taken to the Terminan Embassy in Kliegme for their safe return home.
However, the Captains of both ships were found to be both aware of their ilegal intrusion and poaching, and that they have deliberately lied to their own employees. As such, the Court has ruled a 1500$ fine and 5 year sentence for both captains.

A statement from the Peonic Ministry of Foreign Affairs took a neutral stance in the region’s current debate on drug legalization.
“We respect the sovereignty of our Valkyrian neighbors to pursue their own democratically voted laws in effect. It is our foreign policy that we respect the democracy or other nationstates.”
Huawan has legalized the usage of drugs for medical uses since 1942. By 1974 the Peocracy passed a law which legalized the recreational use and sale of marijuana and sublabial tobacco with critical government oversight. Huawan is also one of the leading producers of cannabis and tobacco in the region.
In other news. The People’s Council and the Royal Council has passed the edict for Huawan to formally apply for a membership in the CE.
The Peony was seen signing the application in the Royal Palace, which was then flown to the CE headquarters for receival from the Secretary General.
The CE has yet to respond to the application of Huawan to the CE.

Live count suggests a close race between the People’s Coalition and the Forward Coalition. However, only 45% of constituencies have finished counting their votes. Reporters on the ground alarmed on the relatively low turn out of voters compared to the last election.
Two students was found dead in Arcana, North Liv, this morning near the city’s Citadel Square after a reported small clash between groups of students just before dawn. The bodies were identified as students from Arcana 1st State Highschool. Preliminary findings suggest that students from Arcana 7th State Highschool might’ve been involved.

The Jakubian government declared that all Molician insurgents in Chłopakcałujący had been closed into seperated small pockets of resistance. One of the pockets contained the now abandoned Steletski Company office, a five story building.

In other news, four gunmen were killed in Topa by Jakubian National Police in a raid on a suspected insurgent cell. Around 17 weapons were seized, including improvised explosive devices and heavy weapons.

The last constituencies have submitted their tally of the votes. The Livanan National Voting Commission announced the percentages of seats won:
Freedom Coalition: 66
Liberal Party: 36
Conservative Party: 20
Green Party: 10
People's Coalition: 62
Workers and Labours Party: 46
Syndicalist Party: 16
The Freedom Coalition had won the majority of seats in House of Representatives, However, the total turnout of voters in this election was drastically low, at around 42% of total registered voters. The new Workers and Labours Party Chairman and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Vera Staunton, called the election “undemocratic” due to the low turnout, and proclaimed that the Freedom Coalition had not received the mandate to rule.

PM Taika of Keanu and Hurley declares the immediate state of emergency to be over. He said that around a third of buildings in the country are irreparable, and as much as 40% of the population is displaced either internally or abroad in the USI. However, on the positive side, temporary shelter, power, healthcare, fresh water and sanitation is now available on all islands thanks to aid supplies. He said to fully repair the countries one supplies of power, water and sanitation will take months.

Breaking News: There have been reports from Military High Command that Task Force Emerald Star and Task Force Denvari have yet to report to their assigned zones. Units of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Airgroups have similarly yet to report in. Other various units from various task forces have also yet to report in. The 1st Fleet has yet to report in on anything from New Emral, including the promised reports on the ERNS Democracy. The Territorial Defence Forces have also yet to report. Other Denvari Military Units have also yet to report in, from Nova Colradia to Spiras. Governmental Members, including the Emeraldian Government aside from the Minister Of Defence and Minister Of Internal Affairs. This includes Governer Will Count of Nord-Danvir and Vice Minister Xander Sven. The King has yet to comment.

Multiple Governmental and Military Figures have pledged their loyalty to the ERF, this includes Prime Minister Aiden Streams, Vice Minister Xander Sven, Admiral Dylan Smithson, General Victoria Jensen, General Edward Stead, Major General Sophia Stilson, Governor Will Count, Air Commander Joshua Terrence, and Capt. Of The 3rd Royal Guards Carl Streams. King Joshua VII has announced that All foreign Citizens in Emerald and Denver should evacuate immediately while the Skies are still clear and for any remaining Loyal Forces to fall back to more defendable positions. Remaining Loyalist Air Forces are being deployed to evacuate and escort important governmental members. The 3rd Fleet will be remaining to evacuate the Royal Family. New Emral Territory has declared its allegiance to the ERF and Spiras has similarly reported that they are under attack by ERF Aligned Forces, as is Ludville and Cimbria as various Stationed Emeraldian Units switch sides. Joint Base Streams and Fort Stoinia are also under attack as ERF Units lay siege to the bases. The LDN’s Battlefleet has also declared its allegiance to the ERF and has immediately begun attacking anything that enters the Strait Of Saint Michael, completely disregarding international law.
