Weissersteiner, Jakubian, and coalition forces, alongside several local pro-Jakubian militias, have reportedly controlled nearly all of Topa.
Despite this, some small pockets of resistance by Molician insurgents remain, creating strongholds throughout the city. Close air support and artillery in the area had increased.

Regarding the finalization of the war in Ludville, the Ministry of Defense notes that “troops stationed there will remain in place until further notice, while other troops will be stationed in the region long term, staying at the joint military base built in Emerald-Denver”. It is not expected for any major changes will happen to Evinean involvement in the war.

Rhayna will start the removal of their vessels and intelligence services from Ludvillan water, and has sent an official congratulation to Emerald and Denver, and wishes them luck and stability in the future.

Anonymous sources have stated that nearly all of Topa has fallen into coalition hands, with most remaining pockets of resistance by the insurgents neutralized.
However, one last remaining pocket of resistance is the Topa Steelworks, which put up strong resistance to the coalition forces surrounding the steelworks.

Kaiser Wilhelm II and Kronprinz Wilhelm III visited the United Protectorate of Tepertopia, as part of the pair’s visit to Alman-speaking communities of South Cordilia and Crabry.
The two visited Happelstein and were greeted by the Protector of Tepertopia, Gerhard von Selingen, himself coming from the Alman-speaking region of the country. The visit is to symbolize the close ties between the two states.

The Ryccian government has congratulated Emerald and Denver for the Ludville junta’s defeat.
In other news, preparations for the referendum on the preservation of the Valoran monarchy are ongoing. As part of the peace accords, and to ensure the fairest vote possible, voting has been made mandatory.

Topa Steelworks continues to put up strong resistance against coalition forces, despite the unfavorable odds.
Weissersteiner forces have also began conducting operations on the city of Chlopakcalujacy.

The Jakubian Government confirmed rumors that the Topa Steelworks, a pre-war factory, had still not been captured. Brig. Gen. Jaśkiewicz stated that “Topa Steelworks will be secured in a matter of days. We originally planned to use smaller precision munitions on the plant, but we have confirmed that there are at least two civilians inside the building and possibly more.”

Coalition forces in Chlopakcalujacy captured a large residential area, filled with multiple small apartment buildings. Coalition forces went from building to building clearing every room of every structure.

Fauderlandish troops have captured a Topa Steelworks stronghold including members stationed there.

Independent analysts have called into question the Fauderlandish claims that they have captured Topa Steelworks.
“Fauderland claims the steelworks had fallen into their hands, however 8 hours after their initial claim, sounds of heavy gunfire could still be heard. The credibility of their claim is up for debate.” states one of the analysts.
Weissersteiner military officials have also debated the Fauderlandish claims, stating that “… the Reichswehr and other allied forces are still fighting in the steelworks as we speak.”

Alexander Hadzic, the President of Kalinskia, has been assassinated. The perpetrators have been executed. The Vice President, Liubou Katsiaryna, has taken over as the new President and has promised to give the Kalinskian people more rights and freedoms.

Amar Juban, the Rising star in YH, has been inaugurated as president of the Myrian Republic today. During his inauguration speech, he has promised the Myrians that the “rampant asset prices that threaten the livelihoods of Myrian citizens” will be stabilised. While Myrians celebrate a change in the long-run Neoliberal politics that have dominated Myria for a decade, many political commentors scramble to find out how the sudden revival of the YH, a political party which was long under the shadow of its more moderate competitors, have won the elections.
(OOC: Honestly the main part of this post. I was busy with midterms and was unable to pick up this storyline. Now that midterms are over, I have time to do this storyline. However, as you can clearly tell, I am horribly behind schedule. Therefore, some retcons will have to be made. Here are said Retcons, or behind the scenes happenings.
Amar Juban, the Social Democrat YH party’s candidate, has won the Myrian elections, and as you can see above, is inaugurated.
Myrian Stocks have been retconned from being in downturn to being stagnant instead.
The economic crisis will be triggered by the collapse of tourism, which I will write a follow up post in a separate thread)

The battle for Topa Steelworks continues on as coalition forces engage remaining Molician insurgents.
“The stronghold has proven to be a tough nut to crack…” according to an anonymous Julixic militia commander.
However, military analysts doubt that the steelworks have much remaining supplies such as food and ammunitions to last longer for the siege.

The flag of Jakub rose above the Topa Steelworks today following its successful capture. Jakubian Commandos along with Fauderlandish and Weissersteiner SOF entered the factory supported by Ikaranarean forces with suppressive fire and securing the perimeter. The Jakubian Army stated that 26 terrorists were killed in the assault. The total casualties were found to be 46. The amount of civilians dead is unknown due to the state of some deceased.
Five civilians were brought out of the steelworks and another was medically evacuated. Eight Molician terrorists were successfully captured during the assault.

The Sugovian Defense Forces (Sogowische Wehrmacht) received the first batch of Panzer 81 “König Panther” main battle tanks from Weisserstein. Adding to the Wehrmacht’s arsenal of tanks.

The leaders of Past and Losavra arrived back in their respective countries this morning. While it is unknown officially where they each went yesterday, it is considered highly likely that they went to Centrus to speak with Alertz.
