Firefight Erupts Outside Krauanagazan Embassy in Ozákla Amid Apparent Asylum Attempt
Ozákla, Zuhlgan— A violent firefight has been reported outside the Krauanagazan Embassy in central Ozákla following what sources describe as a failed attempt by several members of Zuhlgan’s Divine Committee to seek asylum. Witnesses say the incident was preceded by a high-speed pursuit through multiple districts of the capital after The Eyes, Zuhlgan’s internal security apparatus, reportedly became aware of the plan.
According to preliminary accounts, embassy security personnel exchanged fire with operatives believed to be affiliated with The Eyes after multiple vehicles attempted to breach the embassy compound. Gunfire was also reported from at least one of the pursued vehicles, though the identities and affiliations of those occupants remain unclear. It is not yet known whether the individuals inside those vehicles were Divine Committee members, intermediaries, or unrelated actors caught in the pursuit.
The confrontation appears to have occurred just outside the embassy’s outer perimeter, prompting an immediate lockdown of the compound. Emergency services and additional Zuhlgani security units have sealed off surrounding streets, and unconfirmed reports suggest multiple casualties, though no official figures have been released.
Neither the Divine Committee nor the Zuhlgani Defense Ministry has issued a statement. The Krauanagazan State Department has acknowledged “a serious security incident involving its diplomatic mission” and said it is working to establish facts while ensuring the safety of diplomatic staff.
