The food security in large regions of Visrodin territory has recently worsened substantially, sparking fears of a possible famine among the lower-class; the overwhelming majority of the population.

The main causes of this worsening in food security are mainly the autarkic ideas and experimentation of the Todorov regime as general imports, which include food imports, have decreased extensively. This isn’t a huge issue in and of itself, as Visrodin is characterized of being an agrarian country with a large rural and agricultural-involved population. However, as a result of the national revolution, farmers and insurgents all across the country have already burned hundreds of square kilometers of crop fields, as well as food reserves across the country, mainly in the Todorov-controlled territories.

Other than the clear economic damage this move may incur, it seeks to further destabilize and radicalize the Visrodin population, mainly against its thousand year old ruling class.
