Pacifica Language Poll

Both for TSP Wiki purposes and curiosity, I want to know what languages/language families are most widely spoken in Pacifica.

For reference, this is a guide to what the languages are called in Pacifica canon.
Please reply with your nation(s), plot number(s) if applicable, and what the primary - not only - language is spoken. (If multiple are used equally, even in government material, reply with up to 2.)

If your language is not on here, say so. It will be listed as “Other”.

I will make a chart of the data and a color-coded version of the map with a legend for the languages.

Aretia and Calydon (part of Aretia)
86 and 88
Aretian and Calydonian which are closely related greek-like languages. I’m not sure if Agean is still canon.

There is also Sclavinian in the north of Aretia. Appereantly Bulgarian is already claimed so it’s a hellenised south slavic language.

Could this be grouped as a Hellenic-language family?

I guess it could. Or call it Aretian if there is nobody else with hellenic languages

Plot numbers 35, 40 and 41. It’s an area with heavy historical migration but the native languages there are Neidian, Kalinskian and Romordian, which don’t have real life equivalents and are their own language families. In most of plot 35, Aberstopian is spoken which is a conlang descended from Latin. In most of plot 40 and 41 Stralish is the predominant language, which is a Germanic conlang, along with its little brother Hinnish, another Germanic conlang (kinda like English and Scots).

How close are these to Latin // Germanic families?
(ie. if I grouped them into the “Germanic” regions would it be incorrect? it’s no problem if not i’ll just put them into “other languages”)

Stralish and Hinnish both descended directly from proto-Germanic and Aberstopian evolved from Latin so they’re Germanic and Latin languages. I wouldn’t group them all as Germanic, especially since Neidian, Kalinskia, and Romordian represent the more native languages there, and the Aberstopian people are ethnically related to these (but started speaking Latin at some point in history). Only the Stralish and Hinnish people are Germanic, and even they have significant amounts of non-Germanic DNA from mixing with the natives over a thousand years ago.
