Statement from the Minister of Foreign Affairs - Opening of an Embassy with The Outback
The government is both pleased and proud to announce that the Outback and the South Pacific have agreed to open gameside embassies.
Since its creation in November 2024, the Outback has rapidly become a force in modern gameplay. The South Pacific maintains strong relationships with the Outback’s fellow Sinkers, and the government is confident that that deepening our diplomatic ties with the Outback will likewise benefit both regions.
While TSP and TO have, at times, pursued different approaches to certain issues within gameplay, we are united in our belief that strengthening the connections between our respective regions will help to build trust, foster respect, and unlock opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration. We are particularly optimistic about the prospect for future engagement in WA affairs, both in the Security Council, where our interests have frequently aligned, and in promoting the drafting of high-quality legislation in the post-reset General Assembly.
We thank the government of the Outback for the productive discussions that led to this announcement, and we look forward to the next chapter in our relationship.
