Statement from the Minister of Foreign Affairs - Opening of an Embassy with Starlight
The government is both pleased and proud to announce a deepening of our partnership with Starlight. Over the past few months, our regions have collaborated productively, finding ourselves as frequent friends on the battlefield. In just the last month, for example, the SPSF and GAS have served together in 51 updates; no other two regions in the game can claim anywhere near those numbers. At the same time, Starlight has continued to strengthen its ties with the broader Defender community, signing treaties with two of our Aegis allies, The Region That Has No Big Banks and The League & Concord.
In light of these developments, the Prime Minister and I decided that now was the right time to expand our mutual engagement. At the start of the term, the Prime Minister reached out to Starlight’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Missouria. Following several productive conversations, our governments have agreed to open gameside embassies, construction of which has already commenced. Starlight’s forumside consulate will simultaneously be upgraded to an Embassy. In celebration, the SPSF and GAS will compete in a friendly tournament of a homegrown sport: Competitive Hell Detags during the major update starting November 16, 2025 at 12:00 AM ET.
Contestants will compete to find and undo the machinations of overzealous pretend raiders in the shortest amount of time possible. Information regarding signups, scoring and more will be distributed to each military shortly. We hope a bit of lighthearted competition will continue to bring our regions together.
