Nwahs for Delegate Again!

I’ve taken over as Delegate since almost three months ago, and I’m now seeking your vote for a full term. My agenda remains the same as what I’ve outlined in my last manifesto, but I’ll re-iterate some key points, and intersperse it with some reflections on my time as delegate thus far:

Regional Security

I’ve been consistently endotarting and occasionally sending telegrams/pings to non-endorsers since my term started. I have to thank many others for having helped out in outreach for endorsements as well - you know who you are :slight_smile:

Relative to other comparable feeders, we’re not doing too badly when it comes to the percentage of WA nations endorsing the delegate (81%, compared to TNP’s 83% and TEP’s 76%) - I’m not promising that this number will increase come January 2027, but I’ll keep working at it. I think a lot more can be done to boost Coral Guard endorsements as a whole, and I hope that some sort of endorsement-related event can be organized in conjunction with the CRS during the course of the next term.

Regional Growth and Activity

  1. One aspect of the job that I’ve enjoyed immensely is interacting with TSPers close to daily, be it on the RMB or on the Discord. Another is communicating with TSPers during important moments, the Coalition Day address being one such example. I certainly want to do more (I still have not launched a regular telegram series, which is a project that I want to pursue in the term ahead), and I will continue to coordinate with the government on how I should continue on with engaging the region.

  2. The Delegate is not a second culture minister or integration minister. As Delegate, I am the ceremonial head of state, and insofar as I contribute to regional growth and activity, it is as an active advisor and a person deeply invested in seeing our region succeed, not as someone pursuing an independent agenda from the Cabinet. I hope to remain a constructive advisor and participant in government initiatives relating to culture and integration in the term ahead. I will not hesitate in suggesting ideas to the Cabinet and working out how best to implement these ideas, just as I believe any other TSPer interested in seeing the Coalition thrive should.

  3. I think the most important role of a Delegate is to be a unifier. Much has been said regarding the gameside/offsite divide, and I think without rehashing the arguments, it is important that the region elects someone as Delegate that does not seek to weaponize divisions, real or otherwise. I hope that my term as Delegate thus far serves as an good model for the Delegacy going forward.

My only nations on NS right now are Differences-In-Differences (WA-locked) and Olvern, both currently only resident in The South Pacific.

  • TSP: OWL Director, Prime Minister, Chair and Deputy Chair of the Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Election Commissioner.
  • TNP: Citizen (and RA member when that existed) from 2013-2015 and 2024-2025. Deputy Speaker, Minister of Culture, Security Council member, Speaker, all circa 2014-2015
  • Briefly held citizenships in Europeia (2 years ago?) and XKI (eons ago, probably). I do not hold any citizenships besides TSP at this very moment.
