You see this minimalist poster here, right? Lots of white space here. You may be asking, but why are there lots of space left in the poster? Well.
Two friends of mine got banned in TSP in one day, one for inappropriate content in a dispatch that was spammed around the RMB, and one for edgy content in Discord and the RMB. As a result, the TSP population becomes safe. But look at the RMB, hours later, people disagreeing with the bans. Now look again at the poster. The white space represents how TSP feels quiet without the active people, and inside the red 3D circular looking box, is just pure chaos. As you have heard, due to this crisis where Erstavik resigned as WA Delegate and drama between the RMB Mayoral candidates, people have planned on leaving, or if done already, left TSP due to its chaos in the recent week.
The red 3D box with red circles represents the community as one inside a box of llamas. Well, we canât see the llamas, but I assure you they are inside haha. We need that box to be safe and fun. You may be thinking, why is the Name 0ian flag pinned in that box? WellâŚ
Thereâs no part in the paragraph where I said âthey didnât deserve to be bannedâ
And I can help remind the rule-breakers to stop breaking the rules in an RMB. I give them chances and warnings. If they keep doing it, they get banned.
You have just downplayed in your OP what actually happened:
âTwo friends of mine got banned in TSP in one day, one for inappropriate content in a dispatch that was spammed around the RMB, and one for edgy content in Discord and the RMB. As a result, the TSP population goes down.â
Banning those who show bad OOC behaviour is good for the region. I wonât go into what the former RMB Mayor was banned for but our RMB being but the conversation that occured was in no way appropriate and should be called out as such.
The behaviour you walk past is the behaviour you accept.
How as Delegate and as our head of state would you shift the RMB to being a more positive environment for all players?
I have edited the paragraph, please check if there are problems still.
As delegate, I will help the current RMB Moderators in doing their work by suppressing rule-breaking messages and warning them if needed, and as a last resort, ban them if they wonât stop after multiple warnings.
While WA Delegate in this region is a ceremonial role, it still gives you absolute authority ingame. This campaign is very unserious and does not mention what you intend to do as Delegate. How and why do you expect us to trust you (especially as we are in a bit of a crisis), someone with no government experience or a serious campaign to platform on to be the regionâs representative to the world..?
You have a history with the New Pacific Order. Why should TSP nations trust you with the Delegacy when you have aligned yourself with a government that has openly undermined the sovereignity of Game Created Regions right across NationStates.
The hallmark of a good leader is to be prepared. Are you rushing your campaign, or was your decision to run for office an impulsive decision on your part?
It is currently summer break for me so of course I also need time to spend time with family and friends. Since I have finished the requirements such as having a WA account (Name 0 WA Account), being a citizen, declaration of candidacy and a campaign thread, it would be best for me to slow down a bit since we arenât in that of a hurry since posting of campaigns are until April 13.
By this week, I will send the reasons on why I should be voted.
Now I get the fact that NPO is considered as âthe worst allyâ for other regions, but just because I was affiliated with NPO back then doesnât mean I have a mindset of a NPO player. I left last year after being involved in a few months, and people can change their view of the region as an NS player after leaving it due to circumstances, and have their mindset changed (in a good way) due to their new residing region
Itâs fair that this hasnât literally happened already since we didnât exactly know a Delegate election was going to happen, but I wouldâve expected you to wait to post a campaign thread until they were ready. Or, at the very least, give us a few ideasâŚa tasting course if you will.
Youâve also had plenty of time to make graphics, so I donât know why you havenât had time to explain at least one relevant idea.
Youâre also supposed to have your campaign finished when you post it. Couldâve just posted the campaign when you were done with it, you have plenty of time.
My plans for Delegacy is to defeat corruption in TSP, ever since the CitComm recall controversy. Another one is to integrate activities in offsite and onsite, and my last one is to continue the legacy of Erstavik.
the reason I said to wait was because I want to put in full detail on how itâs going to work, but since you guys want to know already, here are the plans without more info for now.
