July 2024 Speaker Elections
Dear colleagues,
the votes have been counted. In the first round, the results of 13 ballots were:
Gianatla: 4
UPRAN: 6
RON: 3
Since no candidate had a majority we advance to the second round.
Gianatla: 6
UPRAN: 7
With that, I am happy to announce that the Ambassador for UPRAN, Andreus Savvidis is the new Speaker of the World Forum!
OOC: The vote from Franz has been not counted since they have not roleplayed and are not a member of the World Forum.

Dear colleges of the World Forum,
I am honoured to have been elected as speaker of this organization for the next 11 months. As representative of the United Provinces since 2021, we have knowledge of the problems that plague the World Forum, and as such, an obligation to try my best to fix them, and to defend the good things the World Forum offers us all. We thank Jan Saats for his superb service as speaker of the World Forum, and we wish him good riddance and luck.
I also hope my service for the World Forum will be sufficient, and since I expect my tenure to be rather demanding, I nominate Helena Meise, ambassador of the Federal Republic of Gianatla (@LordGianni ), as deputy speaker to help me. We believe her experience and her good results in this speaker elections will be appreciated.
