After 4 November, I intend to motion for the end of general debate.
I have no objection to this. At a minimum, I would seek the amendment getting rid of the clause restarting elections for all elected positions, but the end of the Great Council must come soon.
I still think there are some proposals left which both have merit and haven’t been finalised - the ones that come to mind immediately are Kringle’s proposed simplification of the charter (which was just published yesterday) as well as the committee/session proposals for the assembly and the appointed cabinet ideas, but I do think we’re reaching the end of the general debate section.
I’d wait a bit longer than that just to see how much we want these particular proposals.
And before someone replies that we have had several months to do this, I agree. But hey! Momentum builds off of momentum!
