I firmly believe that LordNwahs is qualified for this role and further believe that I am not legally required to submit their name for confirmation. However, I present them all the same so that, should the Assembly deem it proper, it may hold a vote on their retention.

The law, to my knowledge, does not require a vote to retain Ministers, but I would not object if the Assembly wishes to hold votes to reaffirm them.

In any case, my question was more about what ‘formal’ procedure you feel the Prime Minister should undertake. To my understanding, Kris didn’t dismiss LordNwahs just to nominate them again, they just stated their ‘intention to retain’ them, and the Assembly (not the Prime Minister) motioned and seconded a vote on the retention. So if we do that again, then I’m not sure what the Prime Minister needs to do ‘formally’ here.
