Peacekeeper Command

A trade convoy transiting through Hectate is attacked. The Distress call is picked up. Two PKCOM ships, in Archer’s Eerie, enter the hyperlane. While on the way, they prime their programming channels and prepare to launch missiles. Exiting the hyperlane, they fire off two salvos of SGM-H-294 Heat Haze Anti Ship Missile. On target, they stage and cripple the pirates. The Traders express their thanks and continue course.

Peacekeeper Command is a Rapid Response Force, designed to aid ships of any nation from piracy. They pride themselves on speed, and ability to respond to threats with barrages of long range fires. They field a large amount of Lanerunners which allow for quick communications.

Civil Defense Command

The Clipper Shuttle power cuts unexpectedly. Immediately, a Lane Runner of the 1st Naval Task Force is in the area, providing power to the stricken vessel as Flying Damage Control Teams enter to fix what can be fix and lay a path for the real DCTs to fix.

Civil Defense Command runs interior and power projection duties. While PKCOM is a QRF, CDCOM runs actual power projection, being larger, but equally fast, Pocket Cruisers. From this, CDCOM is able to defend the nations in the FTA, other nations, but generally sticks to internal affairs.

“Savior” Pattern Search & Rescue Tender (SPS&RT)
Blunderbuss-Eden Complex II Production

The Savior Pattern Search & Rescue Tender, usually shortened as the ‘Savior Pattern,’ is a Search & Rescue vessel designed for the recovery of Escape Pods. It carries specialized equipment designed for picking up and recovering these pods in a vacuum environment. While an Auxiliary Military Vessel, these ships still carry point defense, radars, and everything.

Radar & Communications Jamming

Jamming radars are one of the best ways to stay hidden in the battlespace. Saturating an enemy’s radar with false information, preventing detection of allies vessels within the cone.

The Federated Trade Association uses all forms of jammers, there is a very useful counter to them, however.

Home on Jam Missiles force jammers to either turn off, or force the jamming ship into PD manuvers. Note that HOJ does NOT track Comms Jamming.

Comms Jamming is playing music over a ship, and forcing them to listen to it. Forcing them to be unable to listen to anybody else. Nobody can communicate to the ship in the cone, and ship can’t communicate.
