I have planned for Fatiniyya to have had a large empire (or large enough for it to be considered noteworthy) sometime between it’s unification in 1432 until the Fatiniyyan War of Succession in 1880. I have discussed possibilities for Fatiniyya to have had some control over Jazeera with W

While Fatiniyya’s imperial ambitions would probably be limited in comparison to other more powerful empires, and Fatiniyya’s efforts would mostly be centered on the Mediterranean and Bareland, I am open for any possibilities for settlements and expansions of Fatiniyya

A wilaya is a region governed directly by Darussalam, with its governor, the wali, being selected by the Sultan himself. There are two forms of wilayah:
Standard Wilayah which is subservient to Darussalam
Autonomous wilayah which maintains a degree of autonomy
-Wasiya
A Wasiya is a region governed by a regent (wasi). These regions maintain high degree of autonomy in comparison to the wilaya
-Hudud
A Hudud refers to a military frontier region governed by the Sultanate military. These regions are usually governed by an amir al-hudud (commander of the frontier)
