Expedition 214 (Rehy-HRC first contact) [2 ABT]

Diplomat Kee-U: writes that down onto a tablet: “If is of ok that we add information to our archive, it documents the history and current state of us and allies.”

Diplomat Scrkaka: “Aspects of our economy are also controlled by the government: there are regulations, there is healthcare and public transport owned by the government. The government can also tell the arms industry to increase production.”

Diplomat Scrkaka: “What is your government structure? Rehys a direct democracy. We have states, and each state has its own leader: makes it easier for the national government to manage things. Rehy is originally a military alliance, so the state borders are of member nation borders.”

“[The Home Reclamation Government is a Meritocratic Oligarchy, the best of the best, and only the best of the best are selected to be in charge. We do have some elements of democracy, however i would not call us democratic. Specifically the person we consider our leader is the Arkon. The most compentent ruler we could pick out of the litter. Isn’t that right Prim?]” Hex says to the one with white hair, apperantly called Prim. “[I still cannot believe that I’ll be the leader in a year.]”

Diplomat Kee-U makes a celebratory beak clack: “Congratulations on being selected, Prim.”

Diplomat Scrkaka makes the same noise, but continues with questions: “We don’t have issues with you being less democratic than us. As long as your civil wrights are of decent.”

Diplomat Kee-U: “A large part of our history was the Ssca dispute: a period of fluctuating unrest, characterised by racially motivated terrorism, political upheaval, and wars instigated by Ssca. Ssca and its religion is dead now. We are very wary of nations similar to Ssca-“

Diplomat Scrkaka makes a quick sharp squark, as something is remembered: “Military. As mentioned before, Rehy is originally a military alliance. Defence is still very important to us. You don’t seem to be pacifist, so you shouldn’t have issues with that?”

[“Not at all, it’s always good to have a good military. That will probably be our first priority now that we know what other civilizations exist, you know, better be safe than sorry.”] Hex says
[“Sounds similiar to our history, we also used to be quite devided, but uh, with fenan nationalism to consider, that was never gonna last. We also probably had less factions than you did after the age of chaos. We had like 8 nations, by the end 3 nations, and finally after a bloody 3 way war 1 nation.”] Prim says

Diplomat Kee-U: “Due to Ruka’s terrain we had a lot of nations. And if you count all the quasi-states that where on Scayikra as separate nations, there’s even more: many still exists today but they are apart of Rehy. We can exchange more history once we get this offical stuff finished.”

Diplomat Scrkaka: “We will be of good allies. Now, can we get an overview of your nation; name, population, any major religions ect, for the archive? Also, how should be announce to our nations we have discovered each other?”

[“The name of our nation is the Home Reclamation government as previously stated. Our population is about 20 billion, probably not a lot by galactic standards, but we just got back into space. Most of the population is athiest about 68,2% of the population to be exact, but we have 2 religions one is Simulism and the other is Empism. Simulism doesn’t have a traditional god, instead they think we live in a simulation, they make up about 28% of the population. The other Empism, runs more like a cult worshiping a particular family, that religion also doubles as a terrorist organisation they make up about 3,8% of the population.”]

Diplomat Kee-U writes that down: “Rehy has a population of 11 trillion. Our main religion is Scayi. Scayi is practiced by 21% of our population, mostly Scayikra and Kusu states, the religion has a lot of sects: across all it’s said that habitable deserts are sacred “scar lands” and for as long as someone believes in Scayiaa the Gods will exist.“ “Sscaaa was a personality cult surrounding there leader, that was explanation of extremely simple.”

Diplomat Scrkaka repeats: “How should be announce to our nations we have discovered each other?”

[“You may introduce us as a potential friend, note that we’re less advanced than you are. As far as we are concerned, be blunt. There’s no need to embellish anything.”] Prim says.

Hex:[“Well, I would like to discuss any potential help you can give us when it comes to scientific research. We would like to analyse some of your tech, to see if we can replicate it, and maybe innovate on it. You can send some of your outdated stuff if you don’t feel confortable sending your current models. Beats them being disassembled with no use right?”]

Diplomat Scrkaka: “That is something we can organise in the future. If you want, we could dock our ship and you could look at it. We could also teleport some of the scrappers.”

Diplomat Scrkaka asks agin: “Do you want to tour one of our ships?”

Diplomat Kee-U notes down how that when questions are asked within sentences they are missed. Rikeuninerd have a similar issue when a question or order is implied.
