The Chair of the Assembly is at the end of the day the presiding officer and therefore has the duty to ensure the orderly administration of the Assembly. While this can involve the appointment of clerks (and I have indeed confirmed in prior posts that I will appoint clerks, because I recognise this is the mandate from legislators) I strongly dispute the idea that not appointing clerks somehow translates to one not having passion for the role. My job is to administer the Assembly, not to act as a legislative equivalent of the Minister of Integration.
I think I have a better understanding @KrisKringle . I sometimes think of the Assembly as in the real world. I reread things. I wasn’t necessarily attacking you. Still learning about everyone and how they operate. I do apologize to you.
