Delegate Transition

Griffindor is still officially the Delegate in every way by law (see Article 3, Section 5 of the Elections Act). Therefore, they cannot be in violation of the endo cap.

Regarding why Griffindor would not want to resign from the WA or reduce their endo count right now, there’s a couple reasons I can think of:

  1. Security Risk: Currently, Henn is less than 10 endos above the next-highest nation, Amerion. This threshold is small enough that it would be easy for Amerion to overtake Henn, whether accidentally or on purpose by an enemy region. Therefore, it’s important for Henn to increase the gap between them and other high-endo nations.

  2. Reduced WA Power: Keeping our Delegate’s endo count high maintains the power of the WA Delegate’s vote.

Many Delegate transitions take a long time, and at the end of the day, the functioning of our government is not impacted by this. Furthermore, Henn is actively endotarting and TGing people to endo them back, which is of course the most important thing that needs to happen.

All this to say, while the Delegate transition length isn’t great, I don’t think there’s a lot that can be done about it.
