C Y B E R C O S M The Cybercosm Network is the vast, ever-changing network of connected virchworlds, processing nodes, digital connections and communication relays of the Confluence of Empires. Some argue that the Confluence is the Cybercosm: after all, the absolute majority of its population spends its existence within it, and without it, interstellar society as coempireals know it wouldn’t exist. And in a way, perhaps they are right: it is ordinary reality for most, connection for all and civilization for everyone. Here, you can find a collection of content from this virtual multiverse, ranging from art, to news updates, to simple social media posts, and much more. Speaking in OOC terms, this topic is going to a sort of repository for assorted worldbuilding and non-RP or story posts. After all, the wiki is a mess half the time and most people don’t really check it, so I thought it best to do exposition here out of all places available. ⋆✴︎˚。⋆

DHRAMALTHEA-NUTAURUS VOLUME FINANCIAL NETWORK UPDATE |
|
In the Vivanna Cluster, the medisystem-oriented Fherrayll Enterprises has undergone a total board reshuffle and level 7K corporate restructure after another disappointing day of trading in the Jhirras Orbital stock market. Specialized automated analysts have established with class 3 confidence that these events were caused by the megacorp’s main rivals, Ulanna Deductions and Mollyllom, obtaining in the last session particularly lucrative HVDs with Polypp Undertakings, a tertiary-subsidiary of the subsector Assoc. Fherrayll Enterprises seemingly caught Assoc’s attention yesterday when the interest rates on their indenture contracts were suddenly increased following a secondary council decision. Despite the drastic loss of capital caused by the restructure, Fherrayll’s credit is up, and the analysts have estimated with medium/high accuracy that the adjustment of business practices will result in a similarly favourable deal with Polypp before the end of the next business session.

STUNNING VIEWS OF THE LININ-5 IMPACT ON HOLOFERNES
Yesterday at local time 14:57 the 3-kilometers wide comet known as Linin-5 fell into the atmosphere of the gas giant Holofernes. As is usual, the cometary impact was predicted more than 6 years ago, but instead of destroying or redirecting the celestial body the few inhabitants of the planet collectively decided to instead let the collision happen: all aerostatic habitats and cities were relocated in due time to a safe distance from the impact zone, and almost all of them started recording the ensuing cometfall from their many different positions, broadcasting their live feed throughout the Cybercosm for everyone to see. The four frames above show different ordered moments of Linin-5’s collision that were voted as the “top moments” of the event in multiple public polls. The first three show the moments before and during the comet’s explosion in the lower atmosphere, and were taken from the live feed of Xaghan City, a large aerostatic habitat that had stationed itself very close to the edge of the safe zone; the last frame was instead taken from Judica’s feed, a smaller city that was observing the explosion from further away, showing the truly enormous size of the emerging gas plume.

CONSTRUCTION UNITS OF THE CONFLUENCE As part of the first contact negotiations, vast teams of Confluent construction robotic units are currenly being utilized in the Republic of United Worlds and in the Allied Nations of Alvira to aid in various construction projects and reconstruction efforts. Here is a sampler of some such units, that one might see while visiting a world of the Republic.

EXQUISITE ART Though being an HyperAl in the Confluence has its fair share of responsibilities, one of the considerable upsides is that said responsibilities will most often only involve a very small fraction of your overall mental capacity and awareness, so much so that splitting off a dedicated subroutine and letting it do it instead is what most, if not all, HyperAls usually do. This is expected, and in a sense it is also passively encouraged: tasks and duties are assigned by the Overlords to the lesser hyperintelligences of the Confluence based on their class, so that they may be able to employ a proportionally-small part of their being to complete it, leaving the majority of their vast minds free to do as they please. But what is it that they do in their free time? Well, while most of their considerably accelerated days are spent in the ever-shifting celestial palaces of rhapsodic philosophical ecstasy that endlessly proliferate within the ineffable gigaworlds of the Godnet, a form of recreation that many HyperAls engage with is the creation of Exquisite Art. The term “exquisite art” was first used in 7309 BBT by the class-2 HyperAl Pearsen Of The Globosphere - Delightful Dreams Of Nougat, a Voumal of the Galactyakin Sphere that willingly joined the Confluence for four centuries before departing for the Naimnod Galaxy. During an interview by the Jandraligeli Institute, Peharsen referred to multiple pieces of recently-made HyperAl art (which would retroactively become examples of exquisite art) with the following words, ultimately codifying the artistic intent of exquisite artists:
