Hello once again TSP!
I come with exciting news: today is Coalition Day, one of our region’s regional holidays! It celebrates the creation of the Charter, Government, and the Coalition. You may ask: “We have regional holidays?” It may be a surprise given that numerous previous administrations and Ministers of Culture have ignored them and done nothing fun for them, leaving them to gather dust in the depths of the MATT Duck Law Archive. Well I plan to change that! This Coalition Day I have two things I’m announcing: a banner contest (the regional banner is the image at the top of the region page), and a card giveaway!
In my last regional TG you might have noticed that me and your RMB Mayor, Zhuanghwei, mentioned an upcoming event! Well this is it, an event to see what the best, coolest, most TSP banner we can create is!
When regional banners were introduced a couple years ago, whoever was in charge threw up our current one just so we didn’t have a boring default one. The one we have is by all means a great banner, it’s the discord server’s banner, but I’ve always been really disappointed by the distinct lack of policy surrounding it, my searching on our forums (and old forums) have yielded no tangible results. This lack of policy surrounding it leaves only one option: I must bring it into the limelight, and what better way to do it is there than to challenge people to create the best banners they can!
Starting now, submissions are open! Submissions are open to everyone and will close in one week, closing on June 9th. To submit a banner to the event you may either link the image in: a telegram to me, an RMB post that pings me, or a dispatch that pings me. You may also submit your banner via DM on discord (my discord is the_age_of_utopia) or private message on the regional forums (my username there is Of_the_Ages).
Once submissions close, voting will begin. Submissions will be organized into a bracket, and over the next week or so go up in short 1v1 polls, with the winner moving on to the next round.
The winning banner will become the regional banner for an indeterminate amount of time. How long exactly? I couldn’t tell you, there isn’t any existing policy 
However, I can promise that it will be left up for at least a month, if not the rest of my term as MoC.
For Coalition Day I will be holding a card giveaway! I will be giving away 3 copies of Ebonhand’s S4 card and one copy of his S3 card, which are all epics. Cards of the delegate for Coalition Day! To enter this contest, all you need to do is make an RMB post stating you want to enter the giveaway that also pings me, and fulfill either of these requirements: be a SWAN Knight, be in the SPSF, or be a citizen of TSP. If you’re a citizen or in the SPSF and not a SWAN Knight please DM me your nation on the regional forums or discord so I can account for that. You have 24 hours since the sending of this TG to enter the card giveaway. Once that period closes I’ll choose the winners at random and gift them their new cards.
