Ice cream cakes I’ve seen were just ice cream outside of a normal container that looks like a cake, without even the slightest bit of bread.

I don’t know about that, but I’m sure that we can make ice cream out in the wilderness! You don’t need an oven, just winter can freeze ice cream solid.
