April Prime minister election 2026 - Hamborn of the Records

Hamborn of the Records ?

Hello citizens of TSP,

As you may know, I’m Hamborn, A cakeist yes but neutral.

I got surprised that I got nominated for Prime Minister as I am new but I accepted the nominations you should say this : “Why did you run for an impossible thing”

I would surely respond like that : “Because why not ?”

So after all of that said, We’ll go in my campaign

I. On Gameside
1. Local Assembly
I think that everyone in TSP should be have their voice in our laws (gameside) so I think that bring Local Council in a different form would be cool for forum and gameside. But it have a major problem, everyone could join. So I brought up with that a 2 nominations system, every 6 months, a period of nomination is opened : to get in the Local Assembly, you need that 2 nominations is gaved by 2 differents WA nation in TSP more than 6 months. Once the nomination finished everyone with over 2 nominations can enter in the Local Assembly. That means the Assembly couldn’t act on NS anymore. The Local Assembly will have the same right than the forum Assembly.

II. Cabinet

1. Ministry

I will be short on that one, As the actual cabinet is good and we don’t have the emergency to modify the Cabinet if it works.

So If I’m elected, I will encourage the Cultural branch on making event as the RMB Mayor and all other idea they could have. I also encourage them to make a cultural event per months.

On Defense, They’ve done great things in that term and I’m happy to see SPSF more developped. Exemple : Make a day on how works NS mechanics on delegacy will be handsome.

On Foreign Affair, I have nothing to say (sorry, I don’t look that much there).

On recruitment/integration, I may state that we have 10% of every New nations, which is enough to have a good player bases however having recruitment is still a key to get nations in TSP.
For integration their wizard is good.
III. On politics

1. New to politics

As you may already knowing, we don’t have new heads on our legislation.
But why ? Because it’s hard to found to learn when you’re new. That’s why we should help new ones that are potential to enter in. I may applaude the integration ministry on their work for a full working wizard that help new to enter as before we have only SPSF or citizenship.

I think I made the things that I could do if you have question or if you want to me to dig up, you’re welcome.

Based on your description of the Local Assembly, I see it as strictly falling under the legislative branch rather than the executive branch. Why should the Cabinet be involved at all in the creation of a legislative body?

Because a new ministry may surpevise the nomination and see if the Charter and constitutional laws are respected.

The Cabinet is not responsible for supervising any other elections. Why is this an exception?

It’s not really an election, it’s a nomination if <2 nominations, you’re accepted in the Local Assembly.

Like that :

I nominate [XYZ]

[Nation of the ministry]

And at the end, the ministry notify that they got more than 2 nominations and can join.

You say that the Local Assembly will have the same right as the forum Assembly. I don’t believe the Cabinet has the right to grant this kind of legislative power. How do you reconcile this?

As you may know, I’m also a legislator, so if I get elected,I could purpose a draft to create the Local Assembly.

How do you plan on helping new members to get to know more about and become part of the assembly and regional politics?

Those are serious suggestions, respect

So are you proposing a bicameral legislative branch? Or will the Local Assemby fully replace the existing assembly?

The Assembly wouldn’t be replaced. It would be bicameral.

making dispatches on how work the legislation, by schemats that I made, the other thing will be handled by Integration team.

How do you plan on introducing new people to the government?

How is this related to the role of Prime Minister as the head of government? The Prime Minister doesn’t have power to implement such a radical change.
Even if you brought this to a vote, how can you ensure that said vote will pass in the first place?

How will you make sure that all votes are valid? What makes a valid vote?
This sounds like more hassle for not much benefit.

I’ll be directing the same questions to all PM candidates.

In the course of Assembly debates regarding the next Chair, the idea has been raised that the government should or could have an affirmative legislative agenda, akin to what we see in many RL parliamentary democracies. Which raises three questions:

(1) Do you believe that the TSP executive should have an affirmative legislative agenda, and why / why not?
(2) Will your government be pursuing a legislative agenda if elected Prime Minister?
(3) If so, what are your legislative priorities?

Already said.

I can ensure but I’ll try, and a new ministry will ensure that the laws are valid under the charter and others constitutional laws.

A system may be state soon.

  1. Yes, I think it should have an agenda because it’s like a guidelines for election and not to be lost.

  2. The agenda will depend on the branch, if they want to use or not.

  3. Gameside
