April 2026 Delegate Special Election

This is a special election for Delegate of the South Pacific.

IMPORTANT - READ BEFORE DECLARING
Failure to follow these instructions will render your candidacy invalid.
  • [Delegate Only] You must have become a World Assembly member no later than the following date:

    2026-04-07T17:30:00Z

  • You must have been admitted as a citizen by the Citizenship Committee no later than the following date:

    2026-04-07T17:30:00Z

  • You must declare your candidacy as a response to this topic no later than the following date:

    2026-04-10T17:30:00Z

  • You must separately post a campaign within this category no later than the following date:

    2026-04-12T17:30:00Z

  • Your campaign must contain a complete and truthful disclosure of all your possible conflicts of interest within NationStates.

I am deeply touched that I was nominated not one, but seven times, to fill the void that I seemingly already filled (at least for the next few hours). However, I will be declining these nominations. I did not expect to become Delegate today, nor did I anticipate elections to occur so soon. I wish any other candidate luck in the election.

That being said, I want to advise the citizenry that, while the election began in sudden and crazy circumstances, this job is still the most important and trusted role in the region, and we should make sure our campaigns (to those running) and questions (for those asking) are befitting of our next head of state.
