@New-Halo, There are no rules to abide in the craziest person election. I could rank a candidate with random words and imaginary numbers and have a valid vote, and the election commissioner can interpret the votes however they want.
Thank you to everyone that participated in this election. The continuation of NationStates’ Oldest Democracy is a blessed thing and I am grateful to be a part of it.
I am especially grateful for the trust and support placed in me to lead as Prime Minister once again. This shall be my last campaign for what I hope to be a very long time, long enough to allow the burgeoning new generation to take over and make this Coalition, theirs. Let this term ultimately be a setup for that, and let’s get to work.
If you are interested in doing work with the title and powers of a Minister, reach out to me. I’d love to have Culture, Integration, WA (via OWL Director), and Defense appointments, if we can work together to a “yes”.
Well, there are no rules for craziest person. Unfortunately. Hey, but if you think about it, you might be able to declare yourself as craziest and not be against the law maybe?
It is a longstanding tradition, long predating my term in office, that the Election Commissioner decides to run the election honestly, interprets votes creatively, or outright picks a winner. In this particular instance I decided to pick Indiana. In any case, Craziest Person is itself a tradition dating back to the founding of the Coalition but is not meant to grant any powers or titles to whoever wins it, so the craziness of the campaigns and the vote tallying are the whole point of the process.
